You set different teams to different A, B, C's. You plan their routes. Then you can press A or B or C on the keyboard and it'll "Go!" their planned actions.
So you can have two teams moving separately from each other, it's pretty useful. You can set Alpha team to throw flashbangs through some doors on some individuals, and have Bravo team hang back on their orders and only break through once the flashbangs have been set off. There are other uses too.
It lets you execute separate plans at unique times, with a simple press of their corresponding keyboard letter.
Guys, I've noticed guns are pretty silly. There's only ever really one clear winner when it comes to picking the guns, and it'll usually have a good firerate and stopping power and accuracy. Guns also tend to share the same exact stats as other guns. Am I missing something? What sets different guns apart from each other?
Man, this game is really moddable!
I made a little mod for this, replaces the gun sounds with more beefy ones and changes a few stats around. Just drop into your "Mods" folder and activate from the in-game menu.
I'm considering expanding this mod into replacing the trooper voices with the FBI HRT from CSGO, but Goddess that's a lot of work.
I used to mod the shit out of this game, I will release my AKS-74, SCAR-H, and 9A-91 mod soon.
and I guess you can request weapons to be added if you want.

Drop distance is pretty important.

Damn, those'd be awesome to have in-game!
btw, I prefer SiC's mod because you can hear the casings hitting the ground ;)

I could edit those in if you'd like.
how do you remove the fog of war in replays? can't seem to get rid of it, like the buttons at the bottom are disabled
Geez, I can't even do the first execution mission. Every time I try to enter the room where the execution takes place the hostage is shot.
Position everyone outside the door so we shoot instantly? The hostage is shot before the door fully opens.
Position people so the terrorists don't see us and then round the corners? The hostage is shot by the first bullet of the furthest terrorist.
Position 2 guys to take out the left guy, use a sniper to take out the centre guy and breach with a flashbang to stun the right guy? The guy on the right just ignores the flash entirely and instantly shoots the hostage.
Meanwhile as I send 3 people to try to breach a single door my fourth guy manages to clear the entire rest of the building in less than 40 seconds.

they shouldn't ignore the flash to be honest, that's my SOP on execution missions and it works every time.
I noticed only the dude with the white shirt only ever tried to kill the hostage. When I used the sniper to wipe him out, the other dude would run to engage my men at the door.

there's always a backup executor otherwise missions would be too easy (at least on most levels, I'm not sure about the first)
the second one may take more time though.
Executions work like this (I know from making an execution level)
There's a set person that is the executor, and he'll always stand near the civilian. You're put under a time limit before the execution happens, however, if you panic them too much (they hear loud shots nearby) they'll execute the hostage early.
If you take out the executor, you basically remove the time limit and lower the chance of the hostage getting shot via panic, because the executors seem to get panicked easier and go straight for the hostage.
If there's other enemies nearby though you can easily panic them into shooting the hostage too but you'll have more time to do it because they don't always go straight for the hostage (they might get to cover or something instead)
It's always wise to use stealth units until you kill the executor(s).
^^ I learnt that the hard way. Roughly 20 fucking times on the hostage mission with the dude in the top right room. Kept charging in with non-stealth units until I realised gun-shots were setting off the execution.

pretty true.
Also I released my mod:

sub 4 cookies.
Will work on adding frag nades in the future, and any requests that make sense.
Yep I did the same learning. Also of note is if you're shot at with a noisy gun that counts too, so make sure you're planning for a quick kill or you're not seen.

which ones?
HK45 and 1911!
So, you guys think this is worth the money right now?
So, you guys think this is worth the money right now?
If you like tactical shooters and looks like it's something you could enjoy then yes, it should be fun enough. There's plenty of levels and content in the game to last a good 20 or more hours, workshop is just released too for mods.
So, you guys think this is worth the money right now?
I would say yes. It feels like a top-down swat 4 in a way. When they add more content and features it will beat out swat 4 in terms of tactical infiltration games IMO.
Also it's cheaper in early access.
I think it's worth the money, I'm really glad I bought it. It's an amazing little timewaster. You'll be on it for a good 6 hours when you first buy it, and then from then on, you'll play it every now and then when you've got nothing better to do, or have the SWAT scratch to itch.
Really fucking fun game.
There used to be a demo but it's really old. They seem to have took it down off their site because the game has came such a long, long way since.
If it's really just to see if it runs and not a gameplay representation try this:
http://www.gamefront.com/files/23377620/Door_Kickers_Alpha_Demo__Windows_
Wouldn't trust it 100% though on wither it runs or not because it's changed so much since.

Loving the 9A91 in this.
Is it possible to mod in new art for the terrorists?
I made a turn-based strategy MSPAINT game based on the general idea of this game. But it got postponed, and I kept the stuff I had made so far.

yes, there's torso and leg files.
animations could be tricky, most mods are recolors

Recolors will work fine for the Saints Row mod I'm planning

Sure, go ahead
Shit, I hate the stop execution missions. It feels so random when they decide to kill them sometimes.
