To be honest, it's hard to top Final Fantasy VII Remake and Shenmue III. I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised, yet it looks like this E3 isn't going to be a particularly 'extreme' one beyond a handful of cases.
To be fair to Sony, they know how to play up a crowd. They played a compelling hero against the atrocious Xbone reveal back in 2013 and last year's conference blew everyone's minds despite all their "holy grail" announcements having massive asterisks that meant they... weren't really that exciting once the initial hype wore off. They're very good at "winning" E3 even if they don't have much by dressing it all up well.
My favorite part was, "Crash Bandicoot!..." *crowd goes wild* "...'s first game coming to PS4 and also Skylanders." *crowd confusion* "Look, STAR WARS!"
Oh, and one other thing about Sony: It's been eleven years, you idiots. [t]http://www.justpushstart.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Ape_Escape_4_Working_logo_v.jpg[/t] WHERE.
Honestly just glad they came in with a great show with a good lineup, outside of Microsoft taking PC back in like a king legitimizing its bastard child. Their wasn't really anything that great from the other shows, I thought they were some of the worst since 2012

Not so. As you can see, this is white. "The Wii Zapper released in white!" WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN
Not so. As you can see, this is white. "The Wii Zapper released in white!" WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN
When the Wii Zapper was first released. :v:
nintendo should sue

Won't be impressed with Sony until they make an effort to support the pc crowd as well, but doubtful that's going to happen.
What the hell is that in the God of War demo at 38m20s https://youtu.be/GwofRzkROo4?t=38m20s
Won't be impressed with Sony until they make an effort to support the pc crowd as well, but doubtful that's going to happen.
you realize the only reason microsoft is supporting PC is because they're losing the console race hard and they're falling back on us as a backup? if they were the ones winning, they wouldn't give two shits about giving us ports, just like they always have.
Won't be impressed with Sony until they make an effort to support the pc crowd as well, but doubtful that's going to happen.
Uhh why would they do that?

[t]http://i.imgur.com/QlZbNZx.jpg[/t] oh my god so this trailer is really personal for Kojima. "Kojima" is holding his baby. It disappears. There's 5 men in the sky. 5 Metal Gear Solid games. One of them is holding something: it's his baby. They stole his baby. The hand shapes on his body symbolises how everyone wants to work with him. There's dead whales all around, hints at the flaming killer whale in MGSV. (There's even a bit of lava) The song that plays is from a band he fell in love with while working on MGSV. But now he's free to do what he wants, since only one hand is handcuffed.
41:27, top left.
Don't see what you're referring to other than the dragon?
Sony has won and I now want a PS4. I may actually change my plans for summer and get a crap job just to save up enough money to get the new PS4 model whenever it gets announced. May even get VR for it while I'm at it since it looks like it's actually doing something solid with the concept and not just presenting the same games in ten different coatings.
Don't see what you're referring to other than the dragon?
Something similar to the gif swoops around behind the arch of the bridge and out of sight.

Got home from work a little while ago, caught up on everything. [thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/27431030/site%20materials/forum/shugo-edited.png[/thumb] Let me know if I missed a game that had pre-order DLC announced with it. I think I saw someone else's card with it marked but I wasn't sure. Also: [thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/27431030/site%20materials/forum/e32016report.png[/thumb] It's almost certain at this point that Sony won. (Not like that was a difficult feat this year.) I can't imagine Nintendo has anything that'll blow them up unless they lied about not showing more than just Zelda and Pokemon.
So, I went to bed some hours ago and when I woke up I find out that during the Sony press conference: 1) A new God of War has been announced and is Northen mythology-themed 2) The Last Guardian has been givena release date 3) Rockestady announced a Batman Arkham VR game (I don't give two shits about VR, but my curiosity has been picked) 4) Remastered versions of the original Crash Bandicoot games have been announced 5) Hideko Kojima announced his new game, Death Stranding 6) Insomniac Games announced a Spider Man game with an original storyline (a la Arkham series) I'd had wished something from Kingdom Hearts III too, but what the fuck, I'll get what I'm given

I get that the PSVR needs to be advertised, but the vast amount of indie titles that could have been shown off in that time would have made the show seem bigger than it was. Combine that with how the PSVR selection was pretty lackluster in general, and that was one point of the conference I felt could have been done better. Overall though, I hope more conferences do that rapid fire game part.
Won't be impressed with Sony until they make an effort to support the pc crowd as well, but doubtful that's going to happen.
I mean, at the end of the day, Sony are a console manufacturer. Sure it sucks that you can't play a lot of their stuff on PC, but they don't have even meagre benefits in doing so unlike Microsoft.
The new Resident Evil looks awful...
What's up with all these new games using regular old drones for stealth gameplay when the entire reason they're called drones is because of how motherfucking loud they are?
So... I'm still really confused. The CEO of Take-Two said this a while ago.
With a number of new games, plus its eSports plans, 2016 is shaping up to be a far busier year for the teams at Take-Two. But could there be more? What about Red Dead Redemption 2? Or Ken Levine’s new project? Zelnick is tight lipped, but points towards E3 as an event to look forward to. “We will be there in a big way,” he concludes.
Was it cancelled? They had no presence at all, right?
