I mean, I wouldn't go that far- they "won" this year because they presented in a way that emphasized games more than the stage itself, which I felt was a problem this year. Overall, I do not think it is a sony bandwagon, just that Sony knows how to play an audience.
Microsoft also emphasized more on games, but people just ignore that because bandwagon.
Microsoft wins for me because they actually care about the PC now, but its a bit too late and still no Halo 3 so I think I hate everything right now.
Come to accept apparently Sony wins each and every year because bandwagon
Sony really came around, in part, because they became more down to earth and humble right around the time Microsoft got cocky and tried to push Kinect/Xbox One DRM/etc. Even though Microsoft has since moved on and gotten better, Sony is still good at showing people what they want, which is why they've done good the last few years.
Your post implies Sony did not have average or bad shows of their own back in earlier years, especially when they were the ones full of hubris and pushing out tacky conferences at times.

At the end of it all, who really gives a shit about the 'winner' of E3? I'm just excited to see games and possibly new hardware to look forward to.
To be fair Sony had Kojima this year, REALLY hard to top that.
Unless something mind shattering gets announced on the Nintendo prerecorded thing, this years was pretty underwhelming.
Barely any new games that have me coming from the show thinking "Oh shit I cannot wait for that to drop".
Microsoft also emphasized more on games, but people just ignore that because bandwagon.
Microsoft didn't had a bad conference. Sony just had a better one. And that's it. It's not a goddamn competition, there's no Gold X Award for E3 winner, just don't pull an EA, show games and gameplay and it's good
Microsoft also emphasized more on games, but people just ignore that because bandwagon.
Microsoft also had a lot of talking inbetween games. Sony had next to none of that. Microsoft was my #1 until Sony came out. Get over it.
Goddamn Vinny Caravella on the GB stream :v:
well since FH3 sold me out, i'll say that M$ won E3 just because of that
Goddamn Vinny Caravella on the GB stream :v:
What are you on about? That's just normal Vinnie, and he is in no way affiliated with the refreshing taste of Coca-Cola™.
To be fair Sony had Kojima this year, REALLY hard to top that.
Yes. It'll be hard to top Oil Baby Floating Naked Men Simulator 2017 : On the Beach

Holy shit dude fuck off

I went to check the stream when you said that and saw Austin pull out a coffee maker. These guys are prepared.

For 30 years and counting it doesn't matter who has new tech or new hardware, The Great Console Wars is a time honored tradition among the video game community, to decide on the one console that you put all your money into. It will always be this way, as it has been since the start of the third generation. People can hate it all they want but the corporations that make and publish video games are just like the corporations that run sports teams, and so E3 is the Super Bowl/World Cup/Olympics of video games now.

Breakin' out the coffee keg.

I love Dan's weird offering Austin increasingly more and more food. Started with twinkies, went to pop corn, then went to a whole fucking coffee machine.

Already live, though on standby. 10 minutes to go.
My only issue with MS's conference was that two games I was really, really hopeful for, Scalebound and ReCore, ended up looking really, really poor. Scalebound looks like a creatively bankrupt mess of a game, and Platinum should be doing better than that, and ReCore? Way to have some of the most unfinished looking, floaty gameplay I've seen in a major title in ages, and that comes out in 3 months

that's very reminiscent of the red dead font, maybe red dead 2 might happen after all...? who knows at this point
I know this is probably late or whatever, but after seeing the trailers for "We Happy Few" and then realizing it's another procedural generated survival game. I just sighed out loud.

Still think it's worth a buy though reminds me a lot of Don't Starve (Where everyone wants to just murder you) just in 3D.
Also more Early Access is never good, but eh.
1 minute till Nintendo's show.
This Treehouse music is funktacular

I thought they were referencing red dead for a second

I doubt Rockstar and take 2 would announce it on some AMD twitter whatever. If we were getting it this E3 it would have been in the MS or the Sony thing.

that's an old video, I'm sure there might be some form of story in we happy few based of what they showed at E3.
Come to accept apparently Sony wins each and every year because bandwagon
Is this every fucking post you've made in this thread?
Grow up.
Nintendo has the most cards up their sleeve with a full system and the biggest hyped game of the year expected to be seen so they can blow SOny out of the water if we like what we see.
Ayy Reggie
Come to accept apparently Sony wins each and every year because bandwagon
Did you even watch the others?
I'm not even a Sony fan and it's clear they won
Holy fuck Nintendo starting with this. Wow.
This is why Nintendo is awesome
