Shawn Laydens been presenting since 2014 man
He'll always be Sony Reggie to me.
When does Nintendo Treehouse Day 2 start tomorrow?
10 am I think, but what timezone?
[editline]14th June 2016[/editline]
How has it held back anything? Almost none of the big AAA releases were even on either of those consoles. It pretty much already is abandoned. The last big AAA game release that was cross-gen was MGS5 last September.
Not to mention we don't see good looking games until the later years of the console life spans.
The PS3 and 360 only starting getting good looking games in the last 2 years of it's life.

September is still 2 years practically of Cross Gen where it could be 1 year guess i'm a little salty on some games at previous E3's having to be downgraded.
I do Realise that the majority of AAA Late Q3 and beyond have nee Current gen only though.
Sony really nailed this e3. I'm really surprised. It's been the SECOND TIME microsoft tell us "HEY ! THIS IS OUR E3! LOOK!" but it was all bullshit still.
I can't wait for Days gone and Detroit the "HEY I AM CONNOR" game ahahahah.
Any take two conference :(?

I assume if it was a spoiler, they would have removed it for the conference like they did with Towns and NPCs.

Did they specify that towns were removed for the demo? I hope that that is the case. A Zelda game devoid of NPC interaction makes me hesitant.
Another thing that kind of adds the anxiety is that I don't think I saw any rupees during the demo.

They did, Anouma himself said so.
[editline]15th June 2016[/editline]
And there are Rupees, you just have to trade stuff for it.
Also said during the Treehouse.
Whatever happened to the 3 FROM Software games? I was expecting at least one of them to get shown at Sony's thing, but I don't remember them having anything.
I still think of them mostly as the Armored Core and Chromehounds guys, so I'm hoping one of those is a mech game.
Any more good e3 videos out yet ?

They're probably early in development still- I suspect to see at least one at PSX.
This Zelda game is almost making me consider getting a console for the first time in my life

Well, Wii U's got the least overlap with PC of the three, and it's backwards-compatible with all the Wii games you missed.

I'd say hold out till the NX comes out, Breath of the Wild is coming out at the same time the NX is so you won't be missing anything.
Nintendo Treehouse: Live begins at 10 a.m. PT on Wednesday, June 15 with a special Pokémon GO developer Q&A, and concludes its programming at E3 with a showcase of previously announced Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games, including Paper Mario: Color Splash, YO-KAI WATCH 2: Bony Spirits and YO-KAI WATCH 2: Fleshy Souls, Rhythm Heaven Megamix, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, Monster Hunter Generations and Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past. YO-KAI WATCH 2: Fleshy Souls? Is that one of the new FROM Software games?
A brand new RPG IP for the 3DS? Let's hope it's better than Codename S.T.E.A.M.
Giant Bomb are doing guest interviews finally

Bear in mind, what we've seen during the treehouse stream is essentially the tutorial zone. From the looks of it, you only hang out there until you've done the four piss easy shrines and get to jump off the plateau with the glider.

Or whenever you want really.

True, but there are still a lot of good Wii/Wii U games to play right now and we don't know whether NX will be backwards-compatible, especially considering the rumors it'll be an x86 to compete more closely with PS4 and Xbone.

Real talk, did people actually hate S.T.E.A.M.? What I played of the demo seemed like everything I hoped for, I just haven't bought it yet due to lack of money. My biggest complaint (the enemy turn times) was apparently patched, too.
Interesting quote from [sp]Polygon[/sp] on Spider-Man
"When I joined Marvel two years ago, I came in with a mandate to usher in a new era for Marvel Games," Ong told Polygon in an interview. "We have a treasure trove of the best superhero characters on earth. What can we do with this to create truly epic games?
Marvel Gaming Universe maybe?
[sp]Also cache it yourself if it bother you that much[/sp]
Or whenever you want really.
I thought they said you have to get four soul things to get the glider? I assume that's their way of locking you out of the rest of the game until you've gotten through their hands off tutorial. I'm guessing the glider is the only safe way off the plateau.

Good concept, just hope they can get quality developers to forge it properly.

I really hope we end up with a decent Ironman game at some point, there is so much potential for a lot of superhero games but they usually end up tied to a movie or handed off to a shit studio.
Would be nice to see Marvel get on the video game train.

I want this back. But after seeing Disney kill off their video game departments and cancel all their current projects leaves me with the thought Disney has little interest in doing so.
