Conference/announcement wise? Yeah, pretty much. At this point its all developer interviews via journalists and Treehouse tomorrow. Most people will probably just discuss anything else like that in the actual games dedicated thread.

afaik disney just wanted out of in-house development and publishing, they want to actively license out their ip instead of making it themselves, after star wars battlefront proved successful.
Telltale also has that Marvel game coming out in 2017 as well, which would fit with them having other developers work on Marvel properties instead of working in-house.

A couple of years ago I remember there being interviews with Nintendo employees who stated they didn't know where to take F-Zero next, and that Nintendo of Europe had approached Criterion, the devs of the Burnout games, to give some concepts of where they think the series should go. However it never left the concept phase because Criterion said they were busy b̶e̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶c̶h̶a̶i̶n̶e̶d̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶b̶a̶s̶e̶m̶e̶n̶t̶ ̶b̶y̶ ̶E̶A̶ working on a variety of new products. But don't worry, no standard Metroid, Cruisin' Adventure's Wii U port, an uncancelled Eternal Darkness 2 and a port of Custom Robo GCN and 2 new games leave me a bit bummed about announcements this year as well.

I've got the feeling that a large part of this is due to people getting outraged that there's no female Link.
The Zelda stream was also going on for 5 hours so no wonder.

Not to downplay people discussing the games and stuff, but I have to wonder what the percentage of people talking about Zelda were the ones not liking the decision to not have the female Link option.

I saw that debate go on for like, 10 minutes, such a thing would barely extend such a graph. Even if it did, at the end of the day, Zelda was the most talked about product of E3 so far, and I can't help but feel Nintendo is gonna take this success to heart.

It's going to be so disappointing if this is another Skyward Sword for me.
My hype meter is so high, and the fact that the game was delayed (twice?) makes me really hope it's the most polished Zelda game ever, story-wise, and gameplay wise.

I feel i could spent 5 hours already in just that demo area so with that it makes me extremely excited to see the rest of the game. It also helps that this is made by Nintendo which is one of the few developers i actually trust with delivering a high quality game even though they have their flaws here and there.

I think Zelda needs its own section just because the game was shown for hours and hours on stream plus all the high important people. All in a single game.
And obviously the whole female Link whatsoever.

I don't really understand the outrage, it's this weird thing where the internet kept telling itself over and over it was a thing that was going to happen while it never was, and then because it didn't happen everyone got disappointed. Over a thing that never existed in the first place.
