Is there a release date for Rythm heaven megamix?
No, but I'd reckon it would be very soon. The Rhythm Heaven games have had a tendency to be released around a year after the Japanese one, which in this case was June 10th 2015.
Actually, we do get to see the new Rhythm Heaven during the Nintendo Treehouse event which starts in little over an hour, so expect a date there!
I don't really understand the outrage, it's this weird thing where the internet kept telling itself over and over it was a thing that was going to happen while it never was, and then because it didn't happen everyone got disappointed. Over a thing that never existed in the first place.
It's laughable because EVERY Zelda game so far always had a male Link as the main character, no exceptions and suddenly people hate Nintendo for it.

The Scorpio pisses me off so much because, in the words of Phil Spencer, "The Scorpio won't do anything for you if you don't have a 4KTV." Most powerful console ever, my ass.
The Zelda stream was also going on for 5 hours so no wonder.
yes that's why he said
" if you want people to talk about your games, just SHOW them. "

So it's worse than I thought. It's not even an upgraded Xbox One that can create a valid choice between performance and graphics for accessibility and price range, it's just.. 4k Xbox One where all that extra horsepower is entirely so it can play things at higher resolutions.
If the PS4 NEO really is an upgraded console and not just essentially doing the exact same thing, then Microsoft might get another slap upside the face.

What the fuck? So it's just a console to play games at the same graphical fidelity and frame rate as now but just in 4k?
Like, I get that 4k will eventually be the standard, but I don't think enough people will have a 4k tv by them time this comes out to warrant them buying it.
Spencer also said that devs can use the updated hardware however they please: http://www.videogamer.com/news/developers_can_use_scorpios_6_teraflops_however_they_wish_says_spencer.html
Spencer really needs to clear this up
Sony should definitely pick up a few pointers from this shitshow surrounding the Scorpio- make it clear and consise, and people will say the Neo is better than the Scorpio out of that alone. I will say though, Xbox announcing so early does give them a lead on all developers who want to develop for the higher powered console- the Neo needs to be announced sooner rather than later in that regard, else we'll see a lot of devs moving towards the Scorpio because "Well I was able to get the exact specs ahead of time"
I doubt they'll care about the specs, they still need to focus on the more sold console, the weaker one.
Same goes for the Neo, devs won't care, the original PS4 sold a lot, they're gonna focus on that player base, so they can actually sell games and make money.

Agents of Mayhem gameplay. Looks bizarre.

I wasn't here for the press conference where REVII was announced but the head writer for Spec Ops: The Line was the writer on that too.

those new legend of zelda look nice, but are very ugly. The fog, the drawdistance, those texture! and the world is REALLY empty, you know those game where the vegetation find a way to make up for an empty world generally? Well yeah, this game fails at trying this, the vegetation is very minimal (in a game like LEGEND OF ZELDA!) so i'm a bit sad about it. There is nothing wrong about the artstyle, but it's very badly executed :/
The RE7 demo made me piss-scared. I love it. :v:
So glad they're not just doing another action game.
I stood around pretty long after you find the tape before realizing you can move around. I was streaming and my sisters were watching (HUGE Resident Evil fans) and there was me just standing for 5 minutes. One of them commented "Is something going to happen?" and I moved my right analog stick and went "Oh. OOOHHHH!" :v:

The World is empty because they took Towns out for when people would play the game and show it off.
Nintendo is really pushing that you have to play it to experience it, without any spoilers. Including cool stuff like Towns and NPCs.

That's really weird. I didn't see any towns in the trailer either.
Maybe that's just an excuse, and they didn't even make the towns yet :v:

I honestly think it looks washed out, as in the colors feel muted.
Everything just has this hazy look over it.

I was having some real difficulty seeing everything on the screen, and I still can't tell if the muddied colors were my internet connection fucking up the stream quality or the game itself.
The vegetation looks kinda shit on the Stream quality, but the direct video uploads on Nintendo's channel look a lot better. Compared to Twilight Princess, which had occasional tufts of grass here and there, almost every inch of forestry obviously has grass swaying and moving aside as you run through, combined with the numerous resources scattered about that actually have various usages for material and cooking factors.
It looks a lot like they want a Zelda game that goes for a naturalistic approach of how the player handles things their own way, to the point that the player can potentially skip a lot of important plot just to advance through the game as they please.

I think it looks great. It has a consistent and good looking art style that is really unique when compared to other games. The textures may be low res, but that goes fine with the style and is to be expected for a WiiU title.
It needs more contrast basically, the color differences between characters and the world are too light

You know that Nintnedo took out a lot of stuff to avoid spoilers, from towns to probably NPC's walking around in the woods, because they want the players to find out what happened to Hyrule while Link was asleep.

You're kidding, right? The old man wears near-black clothing that makes his silhouette stand out against everything. Link's always in the central center of the camera and has things like bright blue or grey contrasts depending on his armor combined with his sharp cel-shading to stand out. The Chu-Chus have their own shading, and the bokoblins are bright red. You could argue that Link himself still blends in a little, but then considering the game has a stealth mechanic and the fact that he's the protector of Hyrule wading through the nature of it, it kind of makes sense thematically too.
It's not as bright a contrast as Wind Waker, but Wind Waker environments weren't anywhere near as extensively mapped out or detailed in comparison. Take away the HD port's lighting and every character was essentially solid colors ontop of somewhat muddied, painted textures.

I'm not sure I'd use the term "bright" to describe this:

Game would look a lot better with vibrant colors rather than washing out everything with yellow.

That seems to be because it's the middle of the day. Other portions of the videos (or maybe just different recording factors) seem to show that there's more color contrast later in the day and the greens pop a lot more.

This.
You can see how different it is throughout this video.

Probably because of my ADD too, there are a lot of games I can't play at all due to there being too much shit on the screen or poor contrast.
Depends on the environment also, but the grass was by far the worst
