And that's why I don't respect him. If he put actual effort into his videos I wouldn't have a problem, but the fact is that all he does is scream at a camera and make over $6 million a year for it. There are other channels that put far more effort into their content and don't even come close to making as much as this guy does.
Phil Spencer on Giant Bomb's talkshow, talking about his earlier quote about 4K, basically saying "The Scorpio isn't designed to make current games run better, but to allow future games to run at 4K." Basically, the N3DS- it isn't to improve experiences, it's to allow new ones, and that's fine for that small subsect of people.

Either way it doesn't really make much sense. Since when are you no longer allowed to be excited for a video game? Especially after all the garbage games he plays daily.

Yeah I don't know if my bullshit detector has just completely failed, but I really liked everything he said. While I am butthurt that I'm being essentially forced to upgrade to Windows 10, he seemed pretty genuine about where they want Windows/Xbox gaming to go.
It was weird hearing him almost call out consoles for being silly in forcing you to pick the platform that your friends are playing on, and with the new architecture it's up to the developers to support cross platform. It warmed my heart too when he said Rocket League inspired a lot of that cross platform stuff.

So far as I know, Phil has ALWAYS said he wanted PC/Xbox game parity but it is only now coming to bear fruit. As for the forced upgrade part, I think that's more a matter of having to integrate the games into their system because of how that stuff is structured. But yeah, he seems super genuine and also like just a nice dude.
