it's already possible to get achievements while cheating with the console. i got some by teleporting myself to the QASmoke dev room and taking all the items
There is also a console command that completes every single quest, which will give you most of the achievements
Does it say this for all survival beta players? I didn't buy the season pass or anything and as far as i know never got into the beta for DLCs. [t]http://puu.sh/od7We/bde2b0c633.jpg[/t]

Actually mine bugged out. If I go to the addons menu, it only shows the Automatron icon, no text, and then sticks to the menu. [t]https://i.imgur.com/artNrdw.png[/t] The [Modded] tags were added by the game btw
After 15 hours or so in Fallout 3, I can't really say that the game's main story is hooking me up like New Vegas did Basically, everything is forced on me. I'm living a (relatively) peaceful and civilized life inside my vault? My father becomes a fugitive, so the authorities order me killed: I now must leave the vault and roam the land. My father is missing? I'm forced to go around asking for him and become the personal bitch of whoever has any info on him. I do find my dad after all? He immediately asks me to help him in his big "water for all" scheme, making me his personal assistant I'd really like the game to give me the option to tell my father that no, I think that before having drinkable water we should really go around and bring order to the whole state first, because yes, those mutants, raiders and criminals are a far more important issue than purifying the water

A lot of their side quests and little nooks and crannies are great, but they're main quests always suffer from the "You are the chosen one!" syndrome where compared to say New Vegas you're a mailman who gets shot in the head and debating on your personal choices and inner story are married to the job wanting to complete it and get your package back, want revenge on the daddio who tried to off you, or you want to bang the daddio, kill him, then get the package back. Where in FO3 you get kicked out of your home which has now been fucked up thanks to your dad, find him in another vault where he proceeds to tell you to fuck yourself and do what he says, where you finish with him murdering himself and telling you fuck you finish my work. It's a lot of people telling you what to do because you're the "Chosen One" and you have to do everything people tell you to.

I just realized FO4 is missing some small thing, rain drop splashes. Its got this nice 'wet' shader for objects, but no splashes.
You literally were, the chosen one in fallout 2.. if you tried to tell it to people they would think of you as Crazy, ahahahah
Anyone else always get annyoed that the chosen one isn't allowed to decide what to do? It's a feature of so many rpgs, everybody else has a plan for the chosen idiot to follow, but by definition he should be the one forging the path. Oh I'm sorry, I thought I WAS THE MESSIAH not you, please continue telling me what I have to do, no no, I insist.
Why are all girl modders so whiny against criticism? The nexus is full of whiny "modders" ! because this http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11798/? is basically a retexture copy of this : http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8233/? with the helmet (and the back) taken from the hazmat suit. This is why it don't look like the poster at all, it just don't feel "right" especially on the helmet. Atleast you could try to learn a bit of modelling so you can make it look right, but no, you had to use that "I don't know how to.." something :/ This is something that i really hate on the nexus : no effort at all to even try :/
While it is true that modders can be especially touchy about criticism, I don't see the correlation between that and them being women. They're clearly having a power trip as are most immature idiots who are given admin rights, but the critics are also mostly dumb. Shezrie and the creator of that nuka gear mod are both women but I'm pretty sure thumblesteen is a guy and he's just as cancerous when facing criticism. Not to mention that guy who did the Telvanni Hall mod, and basically called everyone entitled thieves.
Is there any way to play without the survival update? I want my mods.
Is there any way to play without the survival update? I want my mods.
Don't go into the beta?
Don't go into the beta?
I'm already in it even though I didn't do anything. Can I even get out of it? [editline]10th April 2016[/editline] Nevermind I figured it out
Telvanni Hall mod, and basically called everyone entitled thieves.
Holy fuck I forgot about Giskard, he was huge in the oblivion modding scene and everything he did vanished and went to his private site. No ones worse than Giskard when it comes to taking criticism.
sorry if this is a dumb question, but i can't find it on this thread how can i get mods into the survival beta?

It's cool that they voiced their character, but why it seems like it comes from your headphones and not the game itself? It's generally louder than the other voice generally :/ is this a engine problem ?
https://github.com/TanninOne/modorganizer/releases
sick, thanks! will this work with the mods i've already downloaded with the nexus manager, or do i need to manually install separate mods for survival?

Literally, what the fuck does it have to do with them being a girl? One of the people who worked on the mod is actually a dude. While it is an edit of the slooty vault suit, they openly acknowledged that it is, and even got permission from the creator to use it for their work. A lot of clothing mods, especially pre-CK, and other stuff are almost always cobbled together from a combination of vanilla or custom meshes. Its more than "just a re-skin" has a lot of model editing, custom texture work, as well as a long list of trial and error bug work that was fixed with the items. And that's without even mentioning the sheer amount of work that goes into a completely from scratch mod similar to this. Not everyone in the world is magically inclined to be able to instantly get good at modeling and make custom shit from scratch on a regular basis. If the people who work on the mod asked you to not be a jack-ass and post "hurr-durr its just a re-skin" in the description of the mod, then don't do it, because you know what you'll be getting yourself into if you do. You're just being a huge prick.

I don't really see what my username or "white knighting" has to do with common sense. The mod creator asks you not to be a prick in the comments and even says that they'd block you if you do, and people are still pricks in the comments and then get mad because they got blocked. Like that's simply your fault at that point for not reading.
sorry if this is a dumb question, but i can't find it on this thread how can i get mods into the survival beta?
Go to you plugins.txt file and add * in front of the file names.
Go to you plugins.txt file and add * in front of the file names.
Does it still do the bug where scrap is rendered useless?
Has anyone ever had a bug where if you load a save too fast after becoming hostile to a group (like Diamond City Security) they stay hostile even if you saved before? [editline]10th April 2016[/editline]
Does it still do the bug where scrap is rendered useless?
That was only when you did it via the autoexec method.

Calm down man.
Does it still do the bug where scrap is rendered useless?
That was only due to the hot loading of mods via the hlp command. This is the new method of loading mods. Also don't use mod managers like NMM, it will reset your loader when you use it.
