I came up with an idea for survival mode fast travel, classic Fallout style encounters. You are stopped by chance when fast traveling to locations, the further you fast travel the more likely you are to get an encounter. For example, if I was level 8 and were to fast travel from Diamond City to Sanctuary, there would be an 85% chance of being stopped to deal with a raider ambush, a pack of ghouls in your way, etc. If I was level 50 and were to fast travel across the map, I would have to deal with a couple of Deathclaws battling some Gunners. Fast traveling from one location to another close by location would produce a 10-20% chance of getting an encounter. There would also be a 6 in-game hour cooldown, so you wouldn't be able to exploit the system.
I was hoping I could extract Nora's brain and put it into a robot. She would of loved that.
I still like to pretend Nora isn't dead and she's just mortally wounded in cryo freezing until I can find some fix.
She isn't, I'm playing as her right now!
decontamination arches are really good. theres no reason to use rad away now this is in survival as well

My dreams are slowly coming true. Now we just need someone to add some voice lines. "Move along" I'll just like to trade a few things. "Please submit to a credit check" A yes man personality would be nice to add as well. He has plenty of lines people can work with.
Doesn't the vault computer show that the SO is alive/critical instead of dead like everyone else?
It does? Can't remember, but if that's the case maybe Bethesda have something planned.
Well, my game is running successfully now, but the mods just aren't showing up in game. i can't tell if it's my DLClist.txt/plugins.txt/loadorder.txt, or my .inis, or something else, but the only mods that work are the ones i had to manually install into the data folder. And the version of MO i'm using has a 'Sort' button, just below the Plugins/Data/Saves/Downloads tabs. it opens a command window that runs lootcli.exe from a folder within MO's directory, but it crashes every single time. When i run an independently installed LOOT, it doesn't recognize any mods that aren't already sitting in the Data folder.
Download LOOT, click here [t]http://i.imgur.com/bvU0ncf.png[/t] Make something like this (this is also how you run script extender through MO as well) [t]http://i.imgur.com/qeg8iQi.png[/t] Then run it like this [t]http://i.imgur.com/BEylw48.png[/t] Should work. Built-in one doesn't work, dunno why.
I don't know what happened, but I just saw a raider killed by a mannequin to collision. I just opened my VATS, targeted his head, and before anything can happen, he just fall down the moment he touched the mannequin. I checked my mag, it was still full. so Am actually considering that there should be a mod that shoots mannequin parts at people.

Is it true that rising your luck S.T.A.T. to high degrees in Fallout: New Vegas allows you to win skill checks you won't be able to win otherwise ... on the virtue of sheer, pure, fucking dumb luck? [editline]Today[/editline] And apparently having your intelligence in the very low quarters makes your courier produce dumbass sentences. I have to replay that shit.
he made it with the GECK? Damn! I find the image for the screen a bit too badly made but else it's really well made, thanks for sharing
No, the Creation Kit wasn't involved in this mod. The only difference that being made in the Creation Kit would make is that the plugin might have less bugs. The model was either done in NifSkope, or some other modelling program. The Creation Kit has nothing to do with these sorts of models, after all. I'd personally wait for someone to make a proper version of a Securitron, though. While the model work is impressive, it's just reusing some of the other robot textures, which means that it looks worse than if it had dedicated textures. Plus, if someone made a full custom model, it would possibly allow for a wider variety of modifications, along with letting you put proper Securitron arms on it.
What the hell is that gorilla power armor in the back left?
It's Gorilla Power Armor, obviously. There's also gorilla regular armor, and gorilla supermutant armor.
And apparently having your intelligence in the very low quarters makes your courier produce dumbass sentences. FO1 and 2 you could play the entire game as a low int character and all dialogue would be different. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Intelligence
So I filled a Pulowski preservation chamber with mods, then opened it.
the low intelligence dialog is probably the best gimmicks nv brought over from the classics
They were barely used though.

Ah shit. Wasteland workshop kinda works with my mods, but lots of stuff is missing. Unticking those mods not only causes most of my settlement to vanish (as was expected) but it also crashes my game after 3 seconds, no matter what. Time to start over?
Sooo... Wasteland workshop is kind of meh, now waiting for a dlc with actual substance that hopefully won't feel like an extremely limited mod.
fuckin hell, now my game is just freezing before loading the main menu. Why [editline]Edited:[/editline] But it works only if i use the launcher through Steam??
Eh, if nothing else, just delete everything and reinstall it. Also, you can try to use something else, like Nexus Mod Manager. Hell, I never use any of these Mod Organizer-Managers for anything other than launching the game, and enabling/disabling plugins and checking loadorders if some mod has any masters. Mods themselves I always download&install manually. Also I'm not sure if you have the DLC, I don't yet, but I don't see how it should prevent you. This should help, and google
