The fact that the second G isn't connected is what triggered me, though I've rectified that. I'll probably deal with the railing tomorrow.

Who's ready for some vertical bossfights?
Looks like Lab X-16 from STALKER
I always think there is a bit of missed potential with the 3D Fallouts; Imagine how cool a flesh monster like the master would look in 3D. The closest thing we have to bosses are Liberty Prime, The Mirelurk Queens, and Swan
Has anyone tried to see if Skyrim's thing with dropping items and having people react to them is still around ? It was fun dropping an expensive sword in a bandit hideout and watch them fight over it to the death. [sp]Also seeing your wife beat your housecarl to death over a sword at your own house[/sp]
Yeah, I liked a bit of friendly fighting among my Orc followers, of course. Usually after dropping excess food on the ground.
Don't think it works the same way in FO4 tho :v: No multiple companions yet either.

Modangle? Nah..
With simple floating railings and shit like that, you can just...:
1) open up console
2) target the floating object
3) type "getpos z" to get the floatie's vertical position in the world as a number
4) then "setpos z <new number>" which will move the object to its new position, up or down in this case.
(Also, this makes most objects vibrate after forcibly moving them with console, however fix it by entering Workshop mode, pick up the vibrating object with E, but then just cancel the object placement by Tab, then they will go back and not vibrate anymore.)
(Also, X is for west/east, Y is for north/south. Center of world is the origin/point zero, obviously.)

Kinda tedious, but you can do it really fast too when you get the hang of it.
Best thing would be a "Place in Red" mod, but I wonder how the settlers react to objects placed in red..

I made a little arena right next to the workshop house in Sanctuary

Honestly I dont think im going to be getting the wasteland workshop dlc, seems kind of pointless.
So since the capture and taming mechanic was really just creature-generating cages, does anyone else kinda hope that a proper mechanic that allows you to transfer detained creatures/people from the field back to your settlements gets modded in? Specifically with Intimidation integration.
Because I really wanna get my Big Boss on in Fo4 for some reason.

Deathclaw saddles when?
Deathclaw saddles when?
Creature mounting in general, even. I'd ride a Yao Guai into battle.

Loverslab got you covered in future.

Alright thanks for the lesson mate, using Mod angle though you wouldn't have the non-floating end being like 50 units into the ground and have anyone simply be able to walk over it.
There might have been a leak of some Far harbor settlement stuff. Apparently you can make a barn and something called a Vim machine.

The Vim Machine almost definitely comes from a DLC (seeing as it has a plus symbol by it to indicate it comes from a mod), but barns could come in a regular update instead, seeing as the base game does have them. Hard to say for sure, though, as the base game's esm has keywords for Wasteland Workshop items, despite the vanilla game not having any use for them.
I toyed around with Wasteland Workshop. This may be one of the dumbest things I've ever done.

A new soda that isn't Nuka cola would be nice.

Yeah, I remember seeing something like that on Reddit too. It most likely does come from Far Harbor, but it's pretty much impossible to say for sure right now.
Maybe we'll get a Nuka Cola machine in a future patch too? It'd be a bit odd to have one but not the other.

Seeing as how I bought the Season pass when it was £24.99, I honestly don't give a shit about the price of the Wasteland Workshop to how much content it gives you, at that point for me, each of the DLC packs have like, 37% off in my mind, so I treat them as such, of course on it's own it's still £3.99 but still.
Wasteland Workshop just leaves a bit of a sting because it's come so early in the DLC release schedule. It disappoints coming off the heels of Automatron and just comes as a roadblock to Far Harbor. It should have been released later down the line, perhaps closer together with another smaller, similarly priced DLC.

I know, I got the season pass as well :v: It was just too good a joke to miss.

You made Scunthorpe. Definitely $5 well spent.
Huh, if you have 8 strength, you can take the minigun off the crashed vertibird without using the power armour.
Today I discovered the Mayor's Vault, and I love how it looks and feels like an actual real life vault, without sci-fi element of the more traditional Fallout one.

I only found the Mayoral Vault exploring because of Automatron, apparently I hadn't been in that area at all because I discovered so much shit. I still haven't found the [sp]ghoul kid in the fridge[/sp] and have no idea where he is, I don't want to know either, because one day I'll be wandering around and I'll find him and be like "Oh there he is."

I don't know if it was a lesson.. More like, "Here's how I do it!"
I think the Mod Angle mod basically just sends a lot console commands and faster, the same commands I would be using "setpos z/x/y" ("getpos" wouldn't be needed) PLUS angling commands, which would be too complicated/stupid to do my way.
However, for simple floating objects, and for relatively simple placement fixing, or even hanging up meatbags, these simple commands are pretty handy, and as precise as you want it to be.
Then again.. same goes for the Mod Angle, and you are probably better off using it anyway, I'm just too used to a quick getpos setpos. I even line up myself using the compass (N, W, S, E) for easy reference when playing with X/Y coordinates and not Z which is up/down. Yeah, I know right? How high do you even have to be.

Imagine if you could make BoS cage by using a toaster.
getting really tired of having to smother my computer every time i walk through boston common and try to leave the game
what does it mean when it's actually easier to quit the game if I ctrl+alt+del and end the process than actually using the "quit" option in the main menu

[sp]I know a lot of people complain about how the ghoul kid could survive for 200 years trapped in a fridge but didn't those chinese POWs in Little Yangtze in OWB live for the same amount of time trapped in a small camp that would detonate their bomb collars if they tried to escape?[/sp]
