had to uninstall the true storms mod because it was literally 24/7 storms even though i chose the vanilla weather option.

At least it plays better than what Bethesda has to offer.

STR 7 or 8 to fire would probably be more appropriate.

STR 7 or 8 to fire would probably be more appropriate.[/QUOTE] Hmm, good point. i'd say 8 since that was the STR requirement in New Vegas for the Anti-Materiel Rifle and we have nothing to replace that yet. but it would be a lot more interesting if firing something that huge without the right strength would do more than just decrease damage. Breaking your arms would be hilarious the first time, and you'd never forget afterward.
How complicated is it to add new weapons and armors to FO4? My current project is leading me to model a ton of Warhammer 40k related stuff. Such as a bolter among a ton of other stuff. (Model is still a VERY heavy WIP) [t]http://i1.someimage.com/pOITQLa.png[/t] Was pondering on trying my hand and converting them over to FO4 once the Geck releases fully.

Which means you need GECK access, which might not be for a little while until it's out of beta, or you can try your luck searching for a beta key Adding new ammo types isn't too difficult and adding new sounds is simple too. i don't know about importing models to the GECK, but there are definitely people in this thread that do who could help you out
So I created a fresh new character for survival mode and since I hate myself, I made up more restrictions. [t]http://i.imgur.com/gIopd4c.jpg[/t] I will play as a weak nerdy working wastelander with low strength, perception, charisma and endurance, high intelligence and average agility and luck. I won't upgrade any SPECIAL points. Only skills that are available on start. I will only use homemade weapons : pipe guns, syringer, railway rifle, laser musket, junk jet, molotovs etc. I only pick up normal weapons for scrapping and selling. Also, since she's supposed to be anti-social : no companions outside of robots and dogmeat. Wish me luck !

Agreed. Some Space Marine armor would be pretty sweet additional content for FO4, even if non lore friendly. I wonder if after I've modeled the dreadnought, if it would be possible to add as part of the Automatron DLC. Now having a Dreadnought companion I would find to be entirely lore and logic breaking but stupidly fun. Especially if it spouted out typical Dreadnought lines. "I am the instrument of his will." "Command me." "At last, back to war."

The Sentry head could be used for the center torso, or for fun you could make it a Robobrain head mod, to be more appropriate. "Even in death, I still serve."
Has anyone noticed how op some of the laser turrets are in the game? I'm playing survival beta in the [sp]FEV labs[/sp], came around the second corner and heard the distinctive turret lock-on sound. Before I had a chance to hit fucking vats, or even aim at the turret I was dead in full T-60F PA with an additional 30 DT from that one endurance perk and my PA torso has the emergency protocols where you take half damage below 20%. I had to get out of my PA and pop on a stealth boy to kill the turrets before they obliterated me.

Had to take every drug in my inventory to take him down before I died (along with starting our encounter by shooting him in the head while hidden.)
