I posted that an hour ago.
So I've never installed a Bethesda DLC when it was hot off the press before. On a scale of 1-RIP, how fucked will my saves with mods be for the next month?

Fuck.
I remember Skyrim being crash-prone as FUCK when Dawnguard released.
You could get a Highwayman working in Fallout 2 and the NCR have working trucks. There were even tanks in Fallout Tactics. If the NCR can figure out how to fix vertibirds and the BoS can build an airship out of an aircraft carrier then people can have figured out the internal combustion engine.
"They are generally run on electric engines drawing power from on-board batteries or nuclear powered with a small reactor to the rear of the vehicle, but vehicles running on petrol also exist."
Won't really need to figure that shit out really.
I really need a starter save file for Robotnik.
anyone's dlc downloading

hey lavacano, did you ever figure out what caused your terrain LOD to be blue?

This DLC looks like it works pretty much like a big mod, so your saves shouldn't really be affected.
I think that Bethesda normally releases a patch for DLCs, but this one doesn't come with a game patch at all, it just downloaded and then you can activate it.
So unless the DLC itself has problems, you shouldn't have to worry.
Yeah Bethesda DLCs are practically just huge official mods, which I love because it allows easier moddability. At the same time however, it can backfire a bit at them, as someone can literally copy paste the files to a different account and activate it like any mod.

No one playing the beta has reported any save or mod problems
Of course, right after I make that post I come across an area with massive occlusion culling issues, but I hope that's just because that location is changed in the DLC and a mod I have doesn't support it yet.
Edit: Yeah, it was just that mod.
I have found the bug where you can use Robotics Expert from a distance pretty amusing, seeing as you don't need to be near any robots to hack them. Pretty surprised there's no fix for that considering how important robots are in this DLC.

Ah yep that worked!
Fisto 2.0 is a go.
I can't wait to make a super duper stupid robot tomorrow
I have 2 Robots at Starlight Drive-In, that's mostly my Robot Home, I have a Sentry Bot named Bacon and a bulky Assaultron named Toast. :D
[editline]22nd March 2016[/editline]
Oh and for anyone who is interested in Apparel (Spoilers?),[sp] the Assaultron Helmet opens and closes depending on whether or not your weapon is drawn.[/sp]

Person is a bit rude.
So Automatron DLC out?
PSA
If you install the radio beacon on Ada and the quest line doesn't proceed type this in console.
setstage DLC01MQ02 2900

It begins.
I forgot my game was modded so I get to the place and there's a [sp]buzz lightyear power armor dude with a chain gun that sounds like the GAU-8[/sp]
Spoilering just in case.
So Fallout 4 Automatron DLC is 9,99$/€ and Season pass is 49,99$/€, yet there is no shitstorm about high price of the Season Pass?

Well like the first review for the DLC was someone shitposting about the price so.
There was a month warning on the price jump for the Season pass. if you didn't get it by now you're outta luck
Well like the first review for the DLC was someone shitposting about the price so.
Well that season pass is way too expensive to me, apparently it was cheaper at some point but I never saw or heard info popup about it.
Does the quest for Automatron trigger at a certain level or do you have to go to a specific place? I just started a new character and will probably be doing it in a bit, so I just want to know.

It's starts at either level 15 or 20, I forget which, you'll get a new radio station (Distress call) when it's available
So is the factory buggy as fuck for anyone else or is it just me? Lots of models/textures just popping in and out.
Level 15.

It gave me the quest right away but I did go on my level 30 character. According to the subreddit it seems 15+ the quest will trigger.
