An old crack addict in a chair.
The $10 price of admission was worth it, just so I can have a tank with a deathclaw head named fuckulon who has two chainguns and beeps aggressively
how do i make starlight drive-in look good
i cant even make correct walls
Game runs surprisingly well on the laptop, above 40fps with everything on medium cept textures on ultra and distant details on high. With a few optimisation mods, I should be able to later on crank up detail, in particular allowing AA.

Shame the SSD is rather limited on this thing (aint got the dosh for a bigger one), and the HDD has an odd problem where even on high performance power settings, it stops running then starts up again, like it's being put to sleep and woken up, causing stuttering in every game on there.
The SSD pretty much consists entirely of Windows and FO4, and a few small programs like the AV and firewall.
After the whole nightmare that was New Vegas' Dead Money, taking on Honest Hearts with my Police Pistol and basically one-shoot anything is kinda refreshing (also, for some reason, after finishing Dead Money I found myself with 943 ammo for said gun)

Concrete floors make the best walls. (seriously)
Here's two mods that make robot customization even better:

Nahant Oceanological Research pretty much confirms there's some freaky shit in the water.
There was probably freaky shit in the water before the bombs even fell thanks to General Atomics and Poseidon Energy, and whatever reckless shit China was dumping into the ocean.
I never found the place before but it's pretty sobering honestly.
Hey guys is there any way to fix the one bug when your crafting power armor and there is a bunch of lines going through the high lighted armor piece your working on. I just got a set of 51 power armor and want to see what the paint jobs look but can't because the lines obscure the detail so much.
I don't have the DLC yet, but does Automatron expand upon any of the Robot Lore? I know it explains some of the [sp] creation of the Robobrains [/sp] but i was hoping there would be some actual new pre-war robot types as well.

Isn't that intentional? I thought it was a bug when it didn't display the lines.
A bug which I tried to create whenever I do aesthetic stuff.

maybe I know the first time I was crafting it was like that so I just might have a messed up perspective. But is there any way to get rid of the lines. I think its dumb that I can't see how the paint job will look like with out having to waste the items to do it. Then get out of the crafting menu when it does give you a preview you just cant see it because the lines.

Everytime I mod my PA. I always make sure the game time is at 9am. I dunno why, but EVERY time I do it at 9am, there is no highlight on the armor. Only on outer edges.
Any way to get rid of the green highlight that goes over the selected item when you're crafting?

Hm I'll try this.
Nope :c

explain yourself!

Best way I found to do this is go into build mode and just grab any built item and just cancel moving it, then just leave build mode and use whatever crafting station you want.
Works for me every time with both the PA station and the robot workbench
So uh I think Bethesda didn't think the hydraulic cover for assaultron hands well enough.

We need a mod that puts Morrowind's movement animations into Fallout 4
And a copy of that Morrowind mod that replaced the player's footsteps with Staying Alive.
Just wanted to report a bug fix I've discovered as I've seen many people reporting this bug.
If you encounter the "followers won't follow/talk/interact etc." bug, you're stuck in a conversation somewhere for a quest.
In my experience, it's happened with Cooke's chem ambush quest and Find Emogene for Cabot House. If you are stuck and unable to speak to your companions (or if they're not following/interacting etc.), go through your active quests and speak to the NPCs that are flagged as quest important, this resolved it for me both times it occured with Automatron. I should note that this did NOT occur prior to Automatron being installed.
I should also note that I've discovered one mod that breaks Automatron: "No Dotdotdot" doesn't play nice with Automatron for some reason. Everything else works fine. I recommend updating your AWCKR/Homemaker mods to the Automatron versions.
Outside of that, this DLC fucking rocks. I can finally live out my dream of romancing a French-accented Sentry Bot.
I hope somebody makes a mod that allows you to put Gutsy weapons on Handy arms. I was disappointed to see the only new weapon I could add to Codsworth was a peashooter laser, was really hoping to give him that .45 machine gun.

Yeah, that bug actually happened to me DURING Automatron, when [sp]the last conversation with the Mechanist was supposed to pop up, so I had to reload and do the final fight again.[/sp]

All I've experienced since then is [sp]Sparks fucking ~tcl'ing through the damn floor and insta aggroing me as SOON as I enter the lair, which was fixed by toggling AI off and resetting Sparks, then re-enabling him via console.[/sp]
Has anyone found a fix for the Curie bug where she won't go to settlements and gets lost somewhere in between? Recalling her using console is annoying as fuck.

Wait, isn't [sp]Sparks a girl?[/sp]
Oopsie
So is there any new armor or outfits besides the robot armor that the rust devils have?
So is there any new armor or outfits besides the robot armor that the rust devils have?
Tesla Power Armor.
So is there any new armor or outfits besides the robot armor that the rust devils have?
There's 3 helmets based on the robots too, if you're not including that as part of the robot armour.
So has anyone found a fix for not being able to rename robots yet? its kinda hard to edit a robot when 5 robots are all named "Automatron."
