Now build on top of it like a true slumlord.

Is there a mod that makes the trash piles in settlements scrapable? I was using Spring Cleaning but my game runs noticeably worse with it and I go overboard clearing shit out. I just want the ability to remove the piles of plastic shit and the inexplicable refuse in every house.
There's 3 helmets based on the robots too, if you're not including that as part of the robot armour.
I haven't found any, i just have the body parts. I hope the helmets are neat, still annoyed that most of the headgear is rather lame imo.
I just found Old Man Stockton, dead, naked and surrounded by raiders. RIP :saddowns:
I just found Old Man Stockton, dead, naked and surrounded by raiders. RIP :saddowns:
lol the fuck? That's different, that shouldn't happen at all.

I was hoping the Mechanist outfit was piecemeal armor over a new undersuit, but no such luck. It is upgradeable with ballistic weave, though.
I just found Old Man Stockton, dead, naked and surrounded by raiders. RIP :saddowns:
At least you found him, mine has been missing since the battle of Bunker Hill.
Should I continue to hold out for Survival so I can start a new character or just break and play Automotron now with my existing one?
What's the point of full body armors? They have shit stats, heck i've yet to find a single one with better stats than a single armor piece.
What's the point of full body armors? Mechanist suit becomes the most resistant armour in the game with BW MKV on it, iirc.
IIRC they're an eyebot helmet, sentrybot helmet and an assaultron helmet, the latter of which is best, as you'll see when you get a hold of one.
Yeah, I think the Eyebot Helmet was just put in as another reference back to Fallout 3, it looks out of place with the others.

i've been working on this dumb settlement for like a week, guess it's time to share i tried to make it an arena or something shit, i hope wasteland workshop will allow us to use our own robots to fight each other, because i didn't spend hours trying to find wrestler names for my bots just to end up fighting molerats in cages instead

Even those who actually are full pieces of armor, like the cage armor etc. Come to think of it, the entire armor system in FO4 seems really badly done.
One thing I have noticed in this game is the pathing for NPC's is absolutely terrible. People constantly get stuck or teleporting. I tried to make some buildings on top of houses in Sanctuary Hills, but they can't even walk up stairs that are perfectly connected to the ground/platforms.
Still super dumb they locked that stuff to the RR. Thank God for mods I guess.
Absolutely, but I guess they had to encourage people to go with the worst faction somehow.
meanwhile on the FO4 Nexus
Why?
Is the robot armor bugged, or is it supposed to only have one appearance despite applying mods for Painted, Enameled, Shadowed, Alloyed, or Polished?
So are there any must have mods for the game right now? Specifically weapon mods etc, and other stuff which enhance the game?
meanwhile on the FO4 Nexus

lore friendly-ish
I don't fault anyone for wanting more representation in any game, but isn't this the exact opposite of lore-friendly? As in, the lore shows that someone is one way, and the mod makes them a different way?
Just out of curisoty, why is it that most craftable item mods are stored under the chemistry station utility group category?
Just out of curisoty, why is it that most craftable item mods are stored under the chemistry station utility group category?
Probably has something to do with the fact that Chem stations and Food stations are the only ones you actually craft items at. Weapons and Armor benches are just modding existing items.
I think that people are beginning to use the armor and weapon workbenches from AWKCR more and more for mods, though there's still a number of mods that don't have compatibility patches for it. Hopefully in the future we'll get a few more custom workbenches for people to use for crafting other types of items without cluttering the vanilla crafting stations.
Kind of pisses me off that the mechanists suit is ballistic weave compatible but the helmet isn't, like why? [sp]then again it might very well be the best fucking armour in the game besides power armour if the helmet was compatible with weaving[/sp]
