Fallout Thread V26: At least it's not a Nuclear Winter

Sentrybot frames are fun allies...
But I THINK they are a little TOO keen to use their miniature nuclear missile launcher on enemies... and I decided giving it TWO would be a good idea.

Not pictured, the vaporized remains of a single raider.
-Damn you fixed it.-

What if .. there were a mods that unlock every single mods restriction on bot meaning you can put everything on a single bot?
Hey, do you guys know if the music in the Automatron trailer was released anywhere?? Sorry if this has already been talked about
Well, I've done virtually everything there is to do on my second character. I'm debating on what character I plan to make for my third. I may just make Freddy Mercury/Mike Haqggar/Cromartie Freddy for shits and giggles, but if you guys have any good suggestions lay them on me.
Man I'm retarded, I went through disabling all my mods one by one because I couldn't find the robot workbench being the first time I'm playing automatron, and the whole time it was in special :suicide:

And so my survival Naked Snake run begins, 1911, knife, and explosives only

yeah I thought maybe the robot workbench would be in the workbenches category
You're going to eventually have to use F4SE for mods anyway, so you may as well get used to it..
real men install manually and launch through the default launcher
there's also a debug item already in the game you could use, id 00247E7F, pretty straightforward thing

you can just throw it in the trashcan once you're done tuning your robots so that you still keep a fair amount of resources for other stuff
Heh. Clever.
The only problem I have when building Robots is that for some reason, I go through Rubber REALLY fast, like a make a couple of things and poof, gone, no more Rubber, time to search for more.
Oh and the fucking Eyebot Pod doesn't have Rubber as a resource to search for.

I mentioned this mod before. It lets you assign useless freeloading settlers to various crafting benches so they can gather resources for you.
It's not too immersion breaking (if you care about that) as it makes just as much sense that you'd assign settlers to gathering crap around the settlement as you would have them work in your tato fields.
It's also not particularly balance changing since resources gather relatively slowly (about 50 units a day) and you have to manually travel to the settlement and take the resources from the crafting table before the settler can start gathering again.
And all the crafting tables look kind of cool, so that's a bonus.

How much longer till Survival...
The wait is killing me.

You're pretty good.
i made starlight into an actual town with 3 houses, a bunker that is somehow supported by a single catwalk and a poor people shack because i needed more beds
it also has a giant wall around it and a bank vault door at the gate
real men install manually and launch through the default launcher
It gives a certain sense of clarity, that's for sure..
But installing mods manually, and configuring the loadorder manually, may be a bitch.
Especially if you just unload 10-20 mods in, then afterwards be like "Wait, how did the loadorder go again?" as you are about to add the .esp's and .esm's into the [DEL]plugins.txt[/DEL] or DLClist.txt. So for that, editing the loadorder, you may want to use a mod organizer (it makes it easy), any of them literally. But not a necessity by any means.

or F4SE, haven't tried that one myself yet though, and am not sure if I should get it immediately. (I did have it for Skyrim.)
[editline]28th March 2016[/editline]
Also fuck yeah, I'm getting there... again... But this time, with OCDecorator, Weapon/Tools Racks, and more...
(So far done with Item Sorting, Weapon/Armor/Grenade/Legendary crafting benches, Homemaker, Performance improvements (FPSboost) ughhh what else, more to come)
Tell me though, is there a mod that makes all foods produce 1 food, and not 0.5?
Is it possible that 5Gb of saves could be slowing my game down a bit? Specially during loading?
[editline]28th March 2016[/editline]
I just constantly save accidentally over autosaves.
So I had the bright idea of sticking a couple of flame traps behind my light panel display in Sanctuary, like in that Pipboy display the showed in E3 way back:
[t]http://cdn.gamerant.com/wp-content/uploads/Fallout-4-Vault-Boy-Light-Panel.jpg[/t]
I didn't know because I never bothered before, but apparently traps can only go off once and then you have to reload them, at the cost of more resources. It took me way too much oil and crap before I figured out what was going on. Now I feel kinda cheated.
Is there a mod that lets me keep curie as handy and still get her perk and shit. I want a killer french robot without the french voice guilting me into downgrading her
I don't think there are mods that remove the personal quest requirement yet but you can always add the perk yourself by typing "player.addperk 001e67bc" in the console.
It's stupid how her stats aren't a raw increase when turning synth though. She gains 1 point of Strength and like 200 more HP at the cost of 6 points of Intelligence, like what the fuck
just bought the game today and i just want to ask
does this game can run decently on a 4gb ram computer?
just bought the game today and i just want to ask

Doubt it would run well, as its minimum memory/RAM requirements are 8gb.

Holy Shit, I was going to ask how many saves you could possibly have to aproach 5Bg's and then realized that they're about 10mb each, I just freed up about a gig and a half by getting rid of old F3/NV/4 saves
[editline]29th March 2016[/editline]
Seriously though, get rid of your damn redundant saves
Okay, at 57 mods now reinstalling the game, and I've yet to even play it!
Sure is therapeutic..

gib info please, im running all the optimizations i can muster with my overclock and im still chugging a bit in certain areas
Since we're due for Survival this week, anybody interested should be sure to store all their excess ammo somewhere in their primary settlement prior to engaging the new changes whenever it releases.
Not only will your ammunition weigh you down, but exceeding your weight will physically damage, and cripple you. You'll also be unable to fast travel [sp] with presumably Institute teleportation being exempt from this rule [/sp], but vertibirds should still be fine. If you don't have access to either of those, you probably don't want to be carrying potentially 2 tons of ammunition of your inventory in the middle of nowhere with no vertibird travel to lift you out.
Of course, I suppose you could always just change the difficulty if that was a problem.
