You've done HH right? There's another one in that one too
DAMN IT!

Did you at least find the Survivalist Rifle? That ones pretty good.
I just finished Lonesome Road
[sp]Basically, I convinced Ulysses to stand down (it was the first challenging dialogue confrontation I had in the game) and had the robot sacrifice itself in order to stop the attack (I really wanted to annhilate the Legion, but then I thought that civilians and Legion's territories at large would had been hit, and I'd really like to inherit New Vegas and the surroundings in one piece)[/sp]
Ulysses is basically Chris Avellone's resident author avatar, nothing more to say abut him, really
The time period isn't supposed to be "eternally 1950s", it's supposed to be "1950s world of tomorrow"
all three of those are definitely the sort of shit people in the 50s would have expected from the future
I'm more curious as to how the world will evolve now, as the idea of continuing the 50's aesthetic seems to be dead to those who inhabit the rubble.
Why doesn't Fallout have trading cards. Skyrim has trading cards. I want profile wallpapers.
I'm assuming it'll come after all the DLC is out, or at least after the first round three DLC have finished up.
[editline]3rd April 2016[/editline]
Speaking of DLC, that next one better come with a big ass two-handed wrench weapon.
Is there something I need to do in order to get mods to properly load?
Like, even a simple texture mod for the pipe rifles doesn't seem to show up in game despite not having an .esp

for those of you missing your mods in survival beta, you can enable them with a cute little workaround
add sStartingConsoleCommand=bat autoexec to your fallout4.ini under general
then make a file called autoexec.txt in your root folder
in that file, just add hlp "your mod here (no .esp)", every mod should be on its own line
esm's are a little fucky to do, but all esps will work flawlessly this way.

I think I read somewhere that this workaround fucks with being able to scrap items correctly.

it will, but if you use the scrap grinder mod then you just scrap through that workbench anyhow.
scrapping armor and weapons doesnt work, but hey sacrifices must be made
I wonder why that happens.
Skibadaa just put out a weapon that i might actually keep in my game

I honestly enjoy all of his weapon mods
I think that vault 111 suit retexture everybody uses should be an armor upgrade rather than the standard unmodified suit.
That's probably going to be a mod soon enough though.
Oooo. Drinking Nuka Cola in Survival makes you caffinated, which reduces the need to sleep.
I still hope they add "legit" coffee in some form.

The one thing I love about survival is that it forces you to change your playstyle and actually eat/drink as well as sleep frequently. In the vanilla game the only time I used a bed was when I needed to pass the time fast
turns out survival also disables console commands, not just the console. So even using an autoexec you can't use tcl or any of that.

The moment I noticed that was the moment I was fully sold on survival mode. I really think - annoying console and save issues aside (which I'm sure they'll tweak/allow customization) - Bethesda hit the nail on the head with survival mode.
I really only have minor complains as well.
Make the first notification a warning rather than an immediate downside and either reduce hunger and thirst rates or rebalance food and water for more hydration and sustenance and I'm pretty much sold on the system too.
And the cool thing is the whole food and water system works with simple keywords so mods that add food and items should work with the system with a little bit of tweaking.
Why cant i continue with the Underground Undercover quest ? it says ''continue working with father '' but i have done like 3 quests for him and waited for atleast a week....

It requires you to complete quest named "Powering Up" until it can be continued.
That is all what I will say.

not suprisingly something called a "heavy machinegun" would be heavy, and good for power armor
My Survival beta experience so far. It's fun but man it sure makes you learn things the hard way.
On my way to Diamond city.
Last save was outside of Covenent. Walked all the way to Cambridge poliece station, got pinned into a corner and a ghoul ran up to me grabs me and bit my neck which insta killed me. I did not even know they could do that :tableflip:.
Drank/ate some food/water, 5 seconds later after doing so you are now thirsty/hungry again :why:.
On way back to Sanctuary.
Last save was in Cambridge, I walk past Starlight drive in as I thought "Eh I'm almost at sanctuary, no need to save". Walk straight into a squad of four synths, I got torn to shreds within seconds :dead:.

partially correct: they disable cheat codes, but only those kinds of codes, running hlp or anything like that still is good
Before I finished New Vegas, I wanted to clear at the very least all the quests that get mentioned in the ending slides
I stopped at certain companion quests, however, because the trigger for those don't seem to work that flawlessly or I can't spend enough time with some companions for their personal mission to pop up

The heaviest a Gatling Laser can get is 39.5, i think. then again this does fire .50 cal rounds.

A real M2HB machine gun weighs in at 84 pounds, so it's really not that far off in terms of weight realism.
