I swear that Ada seems to change between slightly lower than player height, to normal Robobrain size. Can't figure out the specific thing that causes it.
I have a robot set to defend the castle, but there are a few places he patrols between where shrinks to being half his size and returns to full size when he moves away. It's bizarre.
oh, wow if they could just fix the awful gunplay, I would so play through NV properly I really wanna experience the DLCs but the game is just so janky
Just pour every point into perception, agility and luck and VATS everything.
I think it'd be best if Bethesda did keep the settlement feature, but put less of a focus on it and perhaps simplify it. Cut out the food/water/happiness etc and just let you use it to make houses and bases and such, even if they ended up only being for the player. Sort of like Hearthfire, but with a lot more customization and freedom.
I wouldn't mind it working like the customisation of home plate, or perhaps even building your own manor house that you hire guards to defend and stewards to look after- but I really don't want to see another whole game of "this box at the end of this vampire cave/mutant den contains 3 levelled pieces of trash that you can use to build more towns with, also those towns prolly need your help right now."
You know that asshole truck near Hangman's alley that is literal explosion hazard? If you smack it enough with trashcan you can remove that travesty. [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/458613230113552290/F96B44FB2B0C19772FCEC2343854A32F1D59088D/[/t]
A new camping mod was released. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11734/? Also give dogmeat his own dog bed.
The STALKER experience is now complete.

I sure am glad that a bug stops you from setting up supply lines in Survival mode. [sp]not[/sp]
In action:
Ada does that for me when she goes near the main Sanctuary house. I think it might be something to do with the tracks because she has them on my game.
Ada does that for me when she goes near the main Sanctuary house. I have some guard bots with treads and they shrink when they enter their guard post
In action:
Sure that isn't Soundwave?
Had a gunner fall off a bridge and get stuck in the floor when she landed. On subsequent runs however it's really easy to just ignore it entirely, and you still have access to the full settlement mechanics without ever talking to Preston. Once it's in place, it becomes very obvious that you don't actually have to bother with it that much however if you don't want to. Settlements are virtually never attacked if you build them more defenses than they have food or water, so you can just arm the already inhabited settlements and never build/activate radio towers in empty ones if you want to use them for yourself and not have to worry about food/happiness/water. Besides, there isn't any actual downside to leaving the settlements starving and unhappy other that affects any other gameplay aspect than settlements. You can't get booted out of the minutemen for being a shit general, you can't have mutinies or anything that would be a problem, you'd just lose food and water occasionally and be bothered by some notifications here and there.

Though I don't understand the design decision behind having preston constantly giving you missions when even the BOS requires you to go and talk to them and confirm your choice before getting more assignments. I guess they came up with preston early on and didn't think of changing it back when they added other radiant quest givers.
A pretty good looking Fire Axe mod for those who like them. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11749/?
I really want to start a new game on survival. Is it worth trying now? I don't want my saves or character to be screwed when it comes out of beta but I have no idea when that is.
Is it true all the "settlement is under attack" things and the radiant quests happen because they have insufficient food and water? And is there a bug that makes it always seem like they don't have enough food/water? I think I read that here a few patches ago.
Check via your Pip Boy if any settlements have ! in their names and see why, if they don't have it they shouldn't be attacked. There is still probably minisucle chance for attack even if you own 9999 everything and x5 times defense.
I swear that my main settlements are bugged. For some reason if I have a high resource count of some of them, the game keeps showing them up as 0 in the pipboy menu and the happiness count keeps going down despite everything being fine.
It's definitely because of robobrain treads. I have some guard bots with treads and they shrink when they enter their guard post
And if you apply Robobrain treads in the Robot Workbench, the rest of the model scales up. i'm almost positive they got really far on implementing Robobrains into the game before deciding that they ought to be larger, so they settled for simply scaling the model up once applying the treads, and scaling it back down in order to fit them into guard posts. it's why my OUT OF THE FUCKING WAY is so massive.

It's best to walk a good deal away from a settlement then fast travel.
Kinda like this but lamer.
Did that guy just yell "Inner Cock" to become a giant?
Sneaking around in the Fallout series feels kinda odd, especially if you got an habit with stealth-based games Enemies have some kind of very short (one second at best) lapse between their "Everything is fine" and "THERE YOU ARE!" behaviour, which you can exploit to land a critical sneak attack Also, they seem to relay on their sight alone to discover your position: I grew to consider silenced weapons useless because, on an high sneak skill, you kill an enemy with your gun and his pal comes around him wondering what the fuck happened, but he won't detect you just yet (unless he stares right at you), so, again, you can use this to land yet another critical sneak attack
In action:
i am requesting a webm with this added
Oh hey, I tried more of the DLC after like... a week... and a half... or maybe longer. I kinda feel like there should be disability access ramps across the wasteland for the robots with big treads.
How come Bethesda and Obsidian can't cooperate on a game? The gameplay of FO4 with the world of 3 and the story of New Vegas is like a wet dream too me...
Getting back into modding FNV again, and I see shit like this all the time. [thumb]https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/130/images/60534-0-1442944087.jpg[/thumb] How the hell can anyone play the game when a good 55% of the screen or MORE is covered in just STUFF? Look at all of this info! It's such a clusterfuck!
