I've decided that a Launcher with tri-barrel, cluster fire rockets, and manual detonation is my favorite. Basically it's an variable range exploding fire shotgun. What's not to love?
I hope this game survives, it's fun as hell so far.
Fun game, though I wish I could stop getting on teams with people that don't know how to play the objective.

Also, no restrictions on names is great. Named a Scatter Tesla Pulse gun The Shit Tickler and aforementioned Beam Rifle The Fuckle Stick.
I am going to spend $51 to pimp DA BOIZ out.

afaik you can't even pay for extra blutes to upgrade your weapons, so the game can't be pay2win

Too bad nobody actually sees that unless they walk over your weapon for a "press e to pick up THE SHIT TICKLER." I'd be cool if it showed the killer's weapon on the death screen.

Well, you can buy double blutonium gains, so I guess thats a form of paying for extra.
I love my tri-cluster rocket launcher and healing beam on the side.
The only things you can pay for are faster progression and appearance customization. It's pretty great actually.
I can't even connect to any servers anymore.

Unfortunately, that is part of the f2p buisness model. They have to earn money somehow, atleast they don't sell you weapons for real money. The way it is right now is actually a very fair buisness model.
What you need to look at is the gameplay, which I think is really damn good and fair for a f2p game.
Just curious, how long did it take to find your previous match?

still though, there's literally ONE option for each cosmetic slot, you'd think they'd have a little more than that. they could give cosmetics 2 prices, too, both in in game money and real cash, but make it much harder to get it with in game money

It is actually possible to customize all the characters without spending money. You can make them bald and take their beards from them :v: Also, Helgas cigarette is removable.
I know, still pretty shit customization for f2p players, but it atleast makes it so that you don't have to look like everyone else in game. Also, everyone I've been playing against this far has only played as Axel, if people don't wanna look like one another, switch characters in your loadout screen. Plus, you can win cosmetics in the daily prize thingy, or spacebux if your lucky. I'ts not like, say BF: Heroes, which also sold itself on the idea of wacky customization but then decided to only let you buy those fancy costumes with real world money, no way to earn them otherwise.
Finally, in the end, the most important aspect of the game is freely availble to everyone: the weapon customization.

I've heard someone mentioning that K/D affects your chances of getting cosmetics or spacebux, not entirely sure if that's true. I hope not, doesn't encourage much trying out new weapons.
Never got spacebux from the prize boxes, only from the prize wheel, that they removed, dunno why.
I miss the wheel.

Even with the advice of changing to the AU server, I still can't connect to any matches. Have been idling for like 40 mins. At least I've got a few matches in there.

Yeah, the wheel was cool. Sad that got scraped.
Your performance only has an impact on how many bonus blutes you earn after a match. You get a certain amount for playing the match, winning/losing the match, then bonus for how well you did. It has no impact on your chance on winning spacebux or cosmetics.
Just been skimming the forums and it would seem the devs are looking into allowing players to use blutes to buy cosmetics, which would be cool.

I liked this game since the first days of closed Beta-testing. Too bad to see it unprepared for a such storm. This games has a potential, but the devs could have underestimated Steam or execpt a storm. Like this.
