Man I loved this game in beta but I forgot about it when I got my new comp.I had some crazy shit like a juice rocket launcher(formerly known as doritos delivery device 2.5), did they delete weapons made in beta?

I can't even log in now :c
Yes, due to them reworking the way you earned weapon parts multiple times.
Damm, but do I keep the parts I already had?
I have spent my spacebux well.
How many did you have? I have ~ 1810 from CBT and I can't really huy anything for them. And how do you get them now, asides from buying for irl money. In CBT they could drop as first daily win.
Damm, but do I keep the parts I already had?
Nope, sorry. Again, the same reason: they reworked the way you earn weapon parts in the game a couple of times so they had to reset everything.
Damm, but do I keep the parts I already had?
Sadly no. At least I got my swag CBT hoodie.

I bought the basic steam pack a couple weeks ago to get into the beta, spent pretty much all of my 6000 spacebux on that outfit.
Yeah, the cosmetics are really cool, but incredibly pricey. It's £7 to buy a smooth criminal taunt.
Yeah, the cosmetics are really cool, but incredibly pricey. It's £7 to buy a smooth criminal taunt.
Yeah, they need to work on their pricing. Luckily, they are looking into allowing players to use blutes to buy cosmetics.
Yes pls. No way I'm spending any more money just for cosmetics.

I was hoping for more character creation options, but I guess that could come in later updates. Seems that Axl got the most stuff, but a lot of Axl's stuff could fit on T-Bone too.
Not to be rude, but didn't you basicly just describe every twitch shooter ever? After all, jumping and shooting was all you did in Quake. It would be more fair to say that you shoot, run, dodge, jump while trying to get your fireball spewing gattling shotgun to work like you want it too.
quake was released long ago though, and people didn't expect much from games back then, at least not as much as they do now i'm just saying they could use more variety. for example, i'd sorta compare this to is TF2. the big difference i see between those games is this: in TF2, you have a heavy fighting a scout. the heavy is big and slow but deals a lot of damage, and the scout is the complete opposite. if the heavy uses his higher damage output to his advantage, he easily kills the scout, but if the scout manages to take advantage of his speed and mobility, he can defeat the heavy. to me, this game feels more like a scout vs scout. there's not much more to it than "hit them first and dodge anything they throw at you", and i don't feel like it really rewards you for playing much differently than that. i feel like if weapons affected your character a little more, like say, using the rifle making you jump higher than if you used the rocket launcher, it'd be a lot more dynamic and fun.
Can anyone else else play right now? I mean I've heard getting into a match is problematic right now, but I can't even log in to the game.
I love the game so far. If I end up spending a few bucks for cosmetics I think I'd go for either: a Daft Punk wanna be [t]http://i.imgur.com/OPLdcVe.jpg[/t] or black Duke Nukem [t]http://i.imgur.com/w6vnz33.jpg[/t]
If anyone is up for playing, add me in-game (fussyfp) or on Steam.

You need to build your "class" from the ground up using the weapon creator and the various utilities, like the turret, the mobile spawn point, disguise kit, shield, jump boots, real and booby trapped healthpacks, or the many variations of grenades. It's actually quite a flexible system that lets you play EXACTLY how you want to play. Ofcourse, you can be forgiven for not noticing since these options are only availble to those who have enough blutes. It's grindy in that sense.

Oh wow this has a thread? I've been playing this back since the beta had a nda. Love the rocket launcher, can't wait to get the triple back up to snuff.

Is anyone else having trouble with the game crashing on start up? Every time I open it I get a run time error and a black screen.
Oh, neat. It kept the cosmetic[del]s[/del] that I bought.
Triple lobbed rocket launcher ftw.
I actually use it with the laser sight, I do dumbfire a lot too though.
i made myself a shotgun, can't hit anything farther than like 5 feet but if i get close enough it takes like half their hp

I, for instance, created a pulse gattling gun and a triple lobbed rocket launcher, which were great fun. And blutes are fairly easy to get, just do SOMETHING productive and you are sure to get alot (like, you get 2000 blutes alone for gaining a level). As for the level design, I've personally never had issues with using long distance weapons, and neither has many of the people I've played against. You obviosuly need to get to the right places for it to be effective, but that is kinda simillar to Unreal for instance: you could snipe, if you were skilled enough, but since the game was incredibly fast paced, and most levels where designed with that speed in mind, it was hard to get away with. You could critize the lack of level varity, since there are only 5-6 levels (including the night/day versions I believe), but again, that is kinda to be expected from the f2p model. Edit: That is not to say that it isin't grindy, but that it isin't that bad, and you gain enough blutes to expand your arsenal quickly.
I want more cosmetic options for Helga, since she's the best. (twerk it gurl)
I actually use it with the laser sight, I do dumbfire a lot too though.
Laser sights are pretty cool, however they do take away a whole point of damage if i remember correctly, so I usually try to get on top of opponents and bring misery from above instead of using the sight. Ofcourse, that could be negated by using a agile or slow propulsion system. But then, I'd rather use the manual control. [editline]2nd February 2014[/editline]
What I love about this game is that you can try cosmetics and weapon parts before you buy them, so you'll know what you get.
The one thing I don't like about that however, is that in order to unlock certain weapon parts you need to unlock it's predecessor. Which would be fine if I could try it out before I go and use my hard earned blutes on, say, a tesla mod to get to the fire mod. However, you cannot try out the fire mod, in this example, before you buy the tesla part, which means you may spend your blutes to get to a part you don't want
