Is anyone else lagging out of every game? It might be a server issue or something, I only started playing today on Europe servers. It says my connection went too high though so it might just be me.
Healing beam turret op, you heard it here first folks. It can heal from so far away and so quickly.
Healing beam turret op, you heard it here first folks. It can heal from so far away and so quickly.
how do you make your turret healing beam? also, I've only gotten blutes from my daily prizes and my friend got some blue jean shorts :(.
i'm about to download this game and play it for the first time. with 3k hours logged in tf2 and quake 3 arena separately, will my experience in those games help me at all here? i watched the weapon creation video, a beam gun looks like the perfect thing for me!

You can make a designated healing area or just plop it semi-hidden near the objective and win with ease.
I'm quite amazed how bad people are at this game. On my second match I already had a superior score to all my teammates who fared worse than just two bots. [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/3317201517431621465/D1AF7474D2FFDD8826898BB5110CF925767183BA/[/t]
I think what makes this game amazing is 90% the death animations
I think what makes this game amazing is 90% the death animations
So... you die a lot?

A bit prediction for rocket launchers is nice to have and a good track aim is very useful for the beams. Also, theres a testing area, where you can practice direct hits with the rocket launcher pretty good. But from what I've played so far, you don't really have to aim that exactly with rocket launchers. At least when you play with a beam gun as secondary. It's more like "spam the rockets and finish them off with the beam". [editline]3rd February 2014[/editline] Also, you can not rocket jump
I feel like not having rocket jumping was a mistake. It could only work on slug type rockets to give them another utility to compensate for not having the special features of the other types.
I think the combination of how high the standard jump is, super jumping (roll and jump at the end of the roll) and jump boots all make rocket jump kind of pointless. Exactly how much higher do you want to go?
They could actually add a special ammo type for rocket launchers which makes you able to rocket jump but unable to cause any damage. Similar to the rocket jumper in TF2. So you could jump around and kill people with your secondary or melee attacks.
So... you die a lot?
n-no... Also how does the "facebook taunt" work? Do you need to use the same e-mail on facebook as in game or what?
This game really needs to tune down bunnyhopping. It's so irritating having enemy from nowhere jumping 24/7 with Rocket Launchers.
i'm a couple games in now and i've made around 8000 blutonium or whatever the gun currency is. this is SO much fun. seriously, this is a blast! i just run around beaming people to death, this is the best new game i've tried out in a while are there any facepunch dudes who play in parties? i could use a party!
Back in the day you could shoot while rolling. Why did they scrap that? Now using spool weapons sacrifices most of your mobility, since rolling will interrupt shooting and you'll have to wait again to start firin. Also what do you think it's best for turretbuddies? I went for a good old slug pulse. [editline]3rd February 2014[/editline]
This game really needs to tune down bunnyhopping.
Weren't you one of the oldtimers famous for fucking shit up with rocket launchers like few others? :v:
No. I'm a Beam Lover. I haven't used Rocket Launcher since Closed-Alpha.
No. I'm a Beam Lover. I haven't used Rocket Launcher since Closed-Alpha.
I haven't even tried any of the other types yet, I'm hooked onto my slug beam. Also have a healer beam, and using both has constantly led to MVP every game. This game has got me hooked and I haven't even been playing for more than a couple hours.
I've been using pulse slug with pyro on it, its alright Beam the way to go?
Will 'contracts' be back in form of achievements? I liked them.

I think if you add a sniper barrel it does more damage than the actual regular snipers.
Fuck this shit, I'm not playing this game alone anymore. I keep getting shitlords in my team and being forced to carry every time is too much of a burden for my sanity.
Damn, Salvo with corkscrew rockets is awesome
Annihilation needs a lot more indication of what the fuck is going on. I know what I'm doing and I'm still lost half the time. The control points could very well pass as map props, and what you have to do at the end isn't explained anywhere.
Quick question about Loadout, is it pay to win? Might try it if its not...
Quick question about Loadout, is it pay to win? Might try it if its not...
Nope not at all. The only thing you can buy with money is clothes. Also you can buy double XP but that's it, no super mega weapons.
Nope not at all. The only thing you can buy with money is clothes. Also you can buy double XP but that's it, no super mega weapons.
Going to give it a try, looks fun. :downs:
The outfits are amazing.
I wish there was an auto-shotgun part you could get My spooling minigun of flaming bouncy pulses is pretty bullet-hell-y, but it could be so much more
Back in beta, I swear that the full-auto trigger would put it at a super high fire rate but with tiny damage.
