Does that mean I won't get into the beta because I'm not in the USA or UK?
Because that would really piss me off.
I love the art style of this game, let's hope they won't make it a horrific pay-to-win experience.

Well, they confirmed the release in Europe, except only in English, so I have no idea why this guy here says he's worried he won't be able to play it. Or I'm completely missing the point, in this case rate me dumb and move on.

I asked a lot of times for them to work for an impalement chassis to impale people to walls and ceilings. The devs went nuts and said they will totally do it, that it is a must, and that they jotted it down in their 'to do' list.

A little summary from the Q/A during the livestream:
There will be a matchmaking system. Low level players aren't likely to fight high level ones and viceversa.
The servers are hosted by edge of reality at first, but they will later sell space for private servers on their machines.
At launch, the different effects will be Slug, Fire, Shock, Ice, Heal(the green needles) and Juice(buff, the orange needles). They are already thinking to more of them, like acid/poison
Customizable grenades will come too! (very approximately) 4 months after launch.
They thought of as many as 500 achievements, one of which is 'electrochute people in the balls 20 times'
Unlocking some achievements will give you access to pieces of equipment or cosmetic item WHICH CAN'T EVEN BE BOUGHT FOR REAL MONEY. players > payers.

They are taking the SOE approach to the release windows for the beta,
for now just go with "soon"

I think the best thing is when your character's head has exploded and all that's left is a brain and two glaring eyes, and you can still shoot stuff as your face re-assimilates

With the cartoony look and similar drop system, it might feel a bit like it.
But the basic concept is entirely different.
Because every game with cartoony violence is a tf2 spinoff, right?

Hopefully, the beta will be coming out within weeks. I've been following this game closely since mid-July, and I must say, I can't wait. I even have my phone set up to get their tweets and their tweets only.
I just got an e-mail from them asking me to download a file to check my system specs...
Umm... Anyone done this?
