I played a bit of it at Quakecon, but there wasn't really much time to customize your gun, so i ended up with some terrible weapon and died a lot.

Guys don't worry, hopefully the have fixed since PAX east, but if they haven't the game is horribly unbalanced anyway. You get kills and get killed with giant rocket launchers shooting 8 spiraling rockets that blow up into grenades which then electrocute everywhere.
I was worried about that.

Seriously I signed up for the beta the day it was announced and have been following them like crazy.
Hell, I've TALKED to the devs while they were on camera. Where is my invite? I want to play this game so bad.
Fuck's sake I saw the beta sign ups back in April but I had to go to the store and forgot to sign up. Only now did it so I'm guessing the wave for my key is faaaary away :(

Talking about livestreams, they said they will do another in some weeks, they just don't have a set date yet.

During this initial phase, keys are being distributed by the handful per day/week.
