it'd be cool if you had a chance of finding ANYTHING, but the chance for some items would be much lower
A chance at getting a 2x boost, any random cosmetic(scaling chance based on price), and rare chance of finding a loadout or gunslot.
I'd be fine if they asked us to buy something first, even. I know they've got to make some money, but the cosmetics are pretty pricey.
I wish you could choose a game mode, like in TF2
I dislike Jackhammer
i leave if jackhammer is about to win the vote. Needs its own maps to be a good mode imo
Anyone else think that Annihilation just has too many things to do in it? It's a decent concept for a gamemode with the control points and base destruction...but they crammed too much other stuff in it as well. Do we really need CTF and Death Snatch in there as well?
Just played my first match of Annihilation. It was pretty fun, but it could really have used a bit of a tutorial. Even a TF2-esque "this is what the goal is" slideshow would have been a big help. We lost, but I'm not entirely sure what the goal was. Get a bunch of points, and then... blow up the enemy ship? How do I earn the boosts, and what exactly do they do?
Quite enjoyable, though.
The characters need a really 80's b movie feel. I want t-bone to call me a jive-ass cracka, i want axl to call me a puto, and whatever her name is to call me he suga daddeh or something
but throw in some scifi because holyshit, we're in space.

I spent all my blutes to upgrade one my weapons. My little baby is growing up, I feel so proud. ;u;
Also, how many times you can upgrade a part?
There is no bleedthrough at all. I have a 3-shot-to-kill beam sniper, the first shot just cuts out the shield and does nothing to them.
3 shot kill, one third of 100 is 33, shield is 33 health. Hasty math with many assumptions but you can't expect that gun to do much after the shields.

Shield is 30 health and a 3 shot kill sniper rifle could be up to 49 damage per shot. Another thing to consider is a partially charged shield could potentially block an entire shot. (Halo: Reach was like that) I can easily test explosives on my own character, but I can't shoot myself.
all of you nerds doing so good at this game >:L

Any weapon can bleedthrough it.
Typical body shot with slug/beam/sniper/liquid does 32-34 damage.
Headshot does ~72.
With headshot it is clearly visible that you are going through it and damaging some health.
Shield is just an effective 33% more health that is regenerative.
It's super effective in modes like annihilation, where medpacks regenerate like 20% of your max hp.
Also, speaking of annihilation, just played my first round on it:
I'm evil ... people hate me...

they even rage quit.
I still think that healthpacks are the best equipment available...
For crying out loud, I joined a CTF game yesterday, though it was almost over, and we actually lost 5000-0
My whole team had a k/d of like -2 it was pathetic
It's like this game is a beacon for all the retards.

any f2p game tends to be
ever since tf2 went f2p it obtained a worse community.
When tf2 went f2p, I got called a hacker on just about any server for aimbotting...as demoman....using melee only.
Just to give my two cents on the issue of the characters lacking personality. I'm actually pretty sure it's done on purpose so that the players can make their own unique character with a personality they decide for themselfs, like roleplaying if you will. Axl and the others are simply templates, a canvas for the players to do with as they please.
Although you have a level of customization in TF2, with the hats and all that, the characters can never quite be "yours" so to speak, because the developers already gave them a personality. Not so in Loadout. I took Axl and made him look like a stereotypical sports coach and gave him a juice gun, with some taunts that I thought matched the "theme" I was going for. I, essentially, created a character from scratch... My vision of my character.
You can then obviously argue that it is quite a bad move to limit customization to people who pay real money and those lucky enough to find cosmetics in the daily prizes. That is, however, a part of the f2p buisness model.
I found a really cool quirk with sticky Tesla missiles: when they stick to enemies or a surface near them, they'll continuously zap them a bit before exploding. Even with the two "wait" detonators (manual and timed), it'll take about a half-second longer but they'll still almost immediately explode on their own after zapping someone, meaning direct hits still act like impact detonation but apply extra damage over a second before doing so.
It's really nice. That extra damage-over-time effect makes up for the Tesla's lowered inherent damage and it'll even arc to nearby enemies. Good way to pile on that extra bit of hurt.
Tesla Grenades are kind of fun.

Yep. This forced me to stick to my 4 favorite servers, where idiots who accuse everyone of cheating are the laughing stock of the server and not the majority who votekick you out.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present you best teammates of 2014, I have never seen such a bloodbath before, they were like animals... Like a freaking hamsters against bears.

I really don't understand what's wrong with those people, how can you play that badly?
Are they even using kb+m? Or are they controller/touchpad users..Gosh, I have no idea.
...
HOW CAN YOU ACHIEVE 0,16 K/D ... WHAT THE HELL ?! It's like being AFK all day.
But I can't say one bad thing, they knew (at least one of them) how to charge hammer and destroy the core.
It also seems I've got some sort of magnet for these kind of people and it annoys the hell out of me.
Meh, I had a team with around 0.75 K/D but we still won by using Russian tactics on blitz.
A few days ago I came across someone who ended the game never having raised his KD from <.1, can't remember if I posted about it.
Seriously. Think how bad you have to be for that.

Then I want to figure out how Tesla affects bleedthrough damage on all weapons. I know with Launchers it does bonus damage, even through the shields, but would a sniper rifle do the same thing?

Well, considering that headhunter on a rifle with tesla deals around 120 damage, I'm pretty sure you can 1 hit kill people with shields by using that combo.
Because tesla deals bonus damage to shields, You end up with like 5 damage overkill by using that... as long as you hit them in the head...
Seeing all you jerks insult bad players makes me scared to play the game more, seeing as since I got a 0.46 K/D on my first match I might be the "cancer of the game".... Also how come everybody has a 1 shot kill weapon and mine takes hours of constant fire to do any significant damage?
i played a bot match to test a weapon with a guy that was lvl 30+? (he had the skull icon) out of curiosity, i asked what he was doing in a bot match

nobody's weapons one-shot... trust me.
not unless it's a charged laser/headhunter rifle or something along those lines.
my rocket launcher can only kill one person from full hp per reload, and that's only with near direct hits. You don't need a one-hit weapon to be good, just roll and jump and you'll be fine

I REALLY fucking wish they'd come up with a new way of choosing who's collector. This game has a terrible tendency to only make me collector when I'm at 10% health, and then giving collector to some deathmatching retard that doesn't bother to pick up any blutonium

I was going to bitch about that, i always seem to be the collector when I'm on low health and have the entire team chasing me for some reason before.
It's not my fault I'm beautiful.
I want the Golf Clap taunt because it is so condescending it's glorious.
I also don't want to spend money so there goes that plan.
