I don't think I've ever seen taunts used in an actual game, maybe it's because I'm still low level so the people I'm paired with are less likely to buy stuff
I've seen it once, aside from myself of course.
I really do wish more taunts were available for free or something, seeing the original with the goddamn whistle over and fucking over is starting to annoy the hell out of me.
I think the killcam is the single reason anyone uses taunts in tf2, that and it being the only way to see yourself third person. Also the key placement is better. Also the beginner taunts are more interesting and unique...

I use taunts ingame sometimes, because taunting makes you cap points faster
I only taunt with my friend, and it's normally when we're paired with some pricks who can't play worth shit so fuck it, might as well troll as hard as possible.
I wish I had the Carlton dance taunt again, I had it in cb and I just loved it..

Pro tip, taunting while on the capture point increases the speed in which it is captured.
Or at least it does sometimes, I am sure it doesn't work at times but when it does it goes up very quickly.

Login with facebook, give all permissions
redeem taunt
Now that you have the taunt, go on your facebook wall, delete the post Loadout has made and delete the fb application from your fb app list.

Agreed, though to be fair, TF2 was a fully priced game for a good number of years. And those taunts where the only ones we had, until right around the time of the medic/f2p update.

On paper that's correct, but I always worry about some strange safeguard that we don't know about being in place to stop that sort of thing. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a per-shot damage cap (shield-related or not). The only bad thing about the firing range is that I can't modify what the targets have equipped. But until otherwise proven wrong, you're totally right, and you're totally a dick if you use that!

It takes so long compared to the default taunt.
