Aaaaawwww yeah.
I can't believe I'm doing so good in this game, normally I completely suck ass at everything I do.
just wait until you meet good players
[editline]15th February 2014[/editline]
43 hours ingame and just hit 20 yesterday
a couple friends had XP boosts and hit 20 with only 27 hours. i gotta get me some of them boosts, too.
I'm almost level 24 and have around 24 hours in game.
Those boost really do help.

Does it only boost YOUR level or does it boost your weapon parts' level too?
Does it only boost YOUR level or does it boost your weapon parts' level too?
Both.
30 hours here and level 13, I wish I had money to buy the starter pack. This game is awesome and I hope it lives for a long time.

i swear the matchmaking is really bad sometimes
the gun I use all the time doesn't have a single level 2 part and I go up against a guy with a level 6 gun

Think that's bad? I went up against a guy with a level 16 gun yesterday, while having no upgrades.
holy
SHIT
This game is fun. Got to play around with settings for a bit, but it's definitely fun
Absolutely love how you get rewarded for being a good medic, with overheal and score buffs.
Ended up with a 13-1 K/D and around 1700 points on my first game V:v:V
Also, the gore in this game is completely hilarious. When I met my first pathetic demise, I was sprinting around with an hole in my chest and without lungs. If you look at the gore in the shooting range, you might think it's grotesque, but I find stupid (in a good way) how a man with no head and a shot-up brain can still sprint around

levels barely change anything.
If a guy with some level 2 parts is whooping your ass, it's probably just your weapon/skill.
Levels are based on how many level X parts you have.
Oh come on, the server disconnected right after I kill that last guy and grab his vial.

and? you need to remember that level 1 guns can compete with level 16 weapons. also remember this is a casual queue and that there will be ranked games in which you can play against your own skill level later. take these games as a learning experience

Increased strength on parts = more damsge output = you are even more fucked.
Talking about matchmaking, will it ever STOP splitting my party(me and my friend) in half by sending us on opposing teams?
What's the detection range for the turret buddy?

That's not the point at all.
The damage increase is 2-3 at rank 3 upgrades. Level 1 weapons are inferior, but only by a little bit, but that does not mean you cannot win a duel against them.
I'm not very creative, so I just named all my weapons Small Health Pack.
remember, when you die you drop your weapon
one walks over it and sees "pick up"
box of dildos
bag of rocks
a dirty needle
etc
I have discovered the gold mine of shitty players. Having so much fun with annihilation so far, haven't lost a match yet.
I mean just look at this trash, don't even need those pesky teammates!
Started with 3, 3rd guy dropped pretty quick and the 2nd dude disappeared half-way to my victory.

then what is the point
Little things tend to add up, a level 1 gun can probably go against guns level <10, albeit disadvantaged, but against a level 16 gun, unless the level 1 guy is really good then I don't see him winning all too much.
Consider getting to level 2 on one part of your gun increases the strength by 2.70% (i think), if they leveled it to 16, 15 times, that would be a little more than 30%, which is a rather obvious statistical advantage.

Parts can't level past lvl 3.
And to get a default rifle's parts, all to level 3, costs a LOT. One part, from level 2 to level 3, at least 20k+ blutonium.
EDIT: My mistake on the prices, rifle slug can cost 23k to upgrade but the standard magazine only costs 7,7k. Still, can reach really high prices.

That's why I don't bother with loadout anymore lol.
Look at these players, 4v1 and they lose, god, I sometimes think that people play FPS using touchpad or something.
Sometimes trying to hit people in this game is like trying to hit a mosquito with a laser pointer during a rave.

1. You can only upgrade parts 3 times.
2. The % increase is off of base damage and do not stack.
So take a launcher with 66 damage, rank up the payload for a 2.70% increase in damage and rank it up again for a 3% increase. That 2.70% does not stack with the 3% and other parts upgraded do not get damage increase from the extra damage from other upgrades.
So, technically the max damage increase in total is around 2-3.

Most notable with snipers. Where 33 becomes 34 damage and a 3 shot kill instead of a 4.

Yeah forgot to mention this. Don't the upgrades make the bolt action do like 50 damage as opposed to 48?
so what is the most overpowered weapon combo right now
so what is the most overpowered weapon combo right now
If you're really good, a headhunter sniper rifle and whatever secondary you want.

I've found that equipping a tri-barrel rocket in both slots is a simple and inexpensive way to kill people. You won't even need to aim, you can just point in the general direction and shoot.

try out a laser, proximity, full auto as a base if you want a double multi-barrelled loadout. i recommend a hexabarrel, but either way I promise you won't be disappointed ;)
beam w/ heatsink seems nice as well
such a shame pulse isnt hitscan
I see a lot of people running around with pyro pulse rifles treating them like pseudo flamethrowers.
Maybe not the most effective killing weapon, but it is alarming as hell when you're getting pelted with tons of fireballs.
