Godamnit, I'm always too late for these streams.
So I managed to win an extraction match with 30 captures. The enemy got to 4 captures by the time I was at 20.
Managed to get a 21 killstreak in Deathsnatch today. Pretty much the only mode I'm good in.
Today was a great day, reached level 21, unlocked Brains avatar and I played with a team where they did really good, all I had to do is heal and barely kill. The people saying thanks and how good medic I was make it worth it ;u;
haven't dropped a cosmetic item for weeks now :<

Those are definitely things to toggle in case of simulation sickness.

Bioscanner is very useful to know who needs healing, Heatsink is useful to heal your entire team and then switch to your other weapon, if you aren't in fighting you remember to hold R to cooldown the weapon for a few seconds.
I'm wondering if Jackhammer would be better if it ends in a draw if no team wins flat-out. Half the matches I'm playing turn into a stale camp-fest after one or two captures. It's not always entirely the defending team's fault either; if offense pushes too hard on some maps, it's easy to get stuck in a raw offense/defense stalemate.
I think the way to improve jackhammer is to remove Shattered from its rotation and remove the instant return so that attrition offences can actually be effective.

I really hate how you have to buy a separate payload for each type of gun, I've bought the wrong upgrades twice now and I know I'll do it again, since when I want to buy Tesla, I'm thinking "OK 2k blutes, let's grab Tesla" and end up grabbing tesla slug instead of tesla beam.. I think sticking to upgrading from the Weaponcrafting screen will be my preferred method from now on. Damn you wasted blutes!
i'd like to see an actual deathmatch mode, and not a catch-the-vial thing because yes i like to kill 3 guys in a row then the fourth guy with 3 hp left comes up and steal all of my work

The hit detection/range on the hammer is hilariously awful
I'd like more modes overall, maybe something similar to blitz but with several points available that give points over time and can switch sides.
The lack collision with enemies really annoys me when using close range weapons. Also the Hubble telescope level zoom on iron sights.

Personally, the way I see it is that the hammer could have a 10-15 second delay between being dropped and being able to be returned, meaning that gradual pick-up offences would be more viable and it would encourage better defence of a dropped hammer. It'd be kind of a hybrid of the way TF2 did it and the current Jackhammer mechanic, where in TF2 the Intelligence would have a delay before automatically returning and the defenders could not pick it up. Also Shattered is definitely too big for Jackhammer since there's no hope of catching a hammer-carrier who's already miles away. Come to think of it, even if you sprint and roll after the hammer-carrier you're not gonna catch them since they're likely sprinting and rolling too, so if they're too far away for you to shoot there's almost no point in chasing them since you'll never catch them. I dunno if that's something they need to change, like disabling sprinting on the hammer-carrier, since that'd make solo captures a bit slower and more unlikely if you can't reliably outpace them. In that case however, maybe make the hammer give a mild health bonus to carriers so that whilst they can't easily outrun their pursuers they can still last a bit longer in a "stand and fight" situation, granting them better opportunities to turn around and smack the enemy, rather than just run off like the antithesis of what they actually are. And what they are are badass mercenary versions of John Rambo, B.A Baracus, and a rotund white girl who probably wouldn't win any beauty pageants (I dunno if Helga is based off of any action movie characters), not exactly the kinda folks who would normally peg it like some wiener kid running from the neighbour's pitbull. Speaking of the mercs, do you think they'll do another merc to add to the current roster of Axl, T-Bone and Helga? Maybe a guy based loosely on kung fu stars like Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Jet Li would work? I think the latter two were in movies where they used guns, right?
I can't wait for custom servers just for 24/7 maps where you can mess around without dragging down your team.
