There are play times? Like in Lego Universe(no shit, I just HEARD about this), when you can play only on specific time?
There are play times? There are scheduled playtimes when you're highly likely to meet matches full of people and devs playing the game with the community.
Yes there is, the first in line are people with high specs who signed up a while ago. Having a good pc makes you jump forward in the queue anyway. But don't worry they are sending 1000 invites every week now, there's a good chance everyone who signed up months ago will make it in.
Signed up less then a week ago and already received the beta access, its alot better then other invite waves to other betas
Signed up less then a week ago and already received the beta access, its alot better then other invite waves to other betas
I think I've been signed up atleast a month plus now. No fair :c
I made a grid image for Steam if anyone here wants one:
Interesting..
Interesting..
You can mail your specs directly at support@loadout.com
Interesting..
Well, I forgot about this game, so in my email, I got a reminder for the specs thing. Did it and now, I wait once more. Also, when it comes to making your own weapons, can you make a small arms class break action rocket launcher? If you can, then this game is going to do wonders for me.
The character damage model looks awesome.
day ???? the dire fields of hotmail are barren as ever, with no sign of a beta invite in sight
Major update coming in ~24h, they said they will nerf the lethalty of weapons by 60%
For some of the major goals for the game, we wanted to make a fast-paced, team-oriented shooter that's easy to jump into and features a high degree of customization. I mention this to bring up the context of where our game was as of 9/17, which is a very deadly game with lots of ways to blast the crap out of your opponents. Weapons feel powerful, and even new players are able to concoct crazy weapons that can dish out extraordinary damage. Of course, that kind of killing power has the corollary of frequently dying, on the receiving end. Such deadliness gives little opportunity to respond and adapt your tactics on the fly, and it reduces the perceived usefulness of weapons that might be more fun and rewarding to control, but which can't stand up against the onslaught of one-hit-kill weapons other players have. This is only exacerbated by "real" internet conditions where lag plays a role, and where by the time you know you're being shot at, you're already dead on the other player's screen. All of this probably isn't too surprising for most of you on the forums, and I've seen statements in various stages of agreement throughout the threads. So with all that in mind, we've spent some time reconsidering the lethality. We've been experimenting the last week or two in-house with modifying the base level of damage throughout the game, and after several tests arrived at an amount that we feel still keeps the game fast-paced and rewarding, but gives you more time to react and counter. That amount is roughly 60%, with some spot tuning here and there for specific combinations. There will still be some one-hit kill weapons out there, but not as many as before, and tend to have the trade-off of being hard to achieve.
[editline]19th September 2012[/editline] I wonder if this leaking I'm doing could get me banned from the game :v:
I wish they gave us more class slots. It makes no sense to be bound to 3 classes with two weapons each while you can make hundreds of different guns.

Just got an invite to closed beta Yay!
Just got an invite to closed beta Yay!
same here! :D
Wtf, I made a cool weapon yesterday, I liked it a lot, was a pulse tesla 3-round-burst shotgun, used it to finish people off. The day after it's nerfed to uselessness. :( They, like, made 3-round-burst weaker than full auto overnight.
Got a key!
Yeah, I'm disappointed with the latest patch. They nerfed all damage and healing by 40%, which was WAY too much. I'd be happier with 15-20%, so weapons don't feel like peashooters.
I made a double-tap shark-rocket launcher, and it's called Shark Tits. I like this game
I just got a key yay I got a borderlands 2 key at the same though, so this will have to wait
Some of the combinations are wonderful. It's way too much fun just dicking around.
Oh boy I finally got a key time to mess around
Nevermind, it FINALLY went away.
Damn, I'm in the beta but my key doesn't work on steam. :(
I just got into the beta and played my first game of it after mixing around with the assault rifle parts only to end up with a gun that's exactly the same as the default one, and then I made a shell loaded semi auto sniper rifle (without any scopes, I prefer the ironsights) that fires the pyro bullets so I can deal some damage to enemies further away from me, so I'm still effective while I make my way closer up. It's basically a flare gun from TF2 that can shoot very far and accurately. Oh man, I just made a instakill rocket launcher, that is normal speed Oh man everyone is mad at me [editline]22nd September 2012[/editline] First time playing and people are already accusing me of hacking
I got into a game where everyone was using Hexa-barrel Spiral rockets. It was amazing
