I'm well aware on how MS's Azura servers works, I was arguing the fact that there's a server browser in the base game, but there wasn't in the beta because they we're stress testing the match making servers so they don't explode on launch day.
Can you point me to the source of this because up until this point I have thought that dedicated servers were confirmed, but not a server browser.
Mutiplayer only doesn't mean there's nothing to spoil, including a story. In fact Titanfall has 2 Campiagns.
Well, I didn't know about that.
I believe the languages picked for game install is depended on what your language is set to in the Origin client.. I'm not 100 percent sure though.
I believe the languages picked for game install is depended on what your language is set to in the Origin client.. Most of the time you get a prompt during an installation what language to select anyway, however sometimes you are limited to only few. As an example I will use a BF4 that I have bought from my local retailer, it contains only Polish and Russian, however my Origin is set to English.
50 bucks? What the fuck. The deluxe edition costs $125 in Sweden. Fuck EA, I think I'll just get it through mexican origin as well. [editline]6th March 2014[/editline] I assume buying it through Mexican origin and whatnot won't result in dumb shit like forcing your game to be in Spanish and whatnot?
Don't you worry, my friend! If you click on the details about said product on origin, you can check what languages it contains. From all my knowledge, all games bought through origin contain access to most, if not all languages. However, the one you think about (region locked keys = 1 or 2 languages to select) are the ones sold by retailers. Here is a screenshot of what you can see in details of Titanfall at Origin, when you go through a Mexican VPN: [t]http://i.imgur.com/961ggbs.jpg[/t] Red box = Supported ingame languages As you can see, it contains multiple languages and ofcourse the most important one, ENGLISH.
Pretty sure that if they limited the language to Mexican, somebody would make a language patch to change it to English. Just like Battlefield 3 and it's russian keys.
Bought the Deluxe edition for 300kr! Wasn't a HUGE fan of the beta but still, $45 is like noting. Worth a shot!
[t]http://i.imgur.com/rCjImJC.jpg?1[/t] Got all the parts for my big red eject button now. When I push it, it sends a very quick sequence of XEEE to the PC. All I gotta do now is drill a hole in the black box that'll house the electronics and get a label on it, both of which I am doing on sunday.

And I thought I was being smart by binding ejection button to the mouse wheel. (X+Mousewheel)
Well, that's pretty spectacular... And I thought I was being smart by binding ejection button to the mouse wheel. (X+Mousewheel)
Mousewheel doesn't give you the satisfaction that slamming your fist on a big red button does though. :v:
Well I was basing that language thingy off of Simcity since I know that game looks at your client hell, in the Simcity support section they tell you that's how to change language.. The only instance that I know where it installs in a different language is Battlefield with the Russian/Polish keys since they by default grab their languages, I don't ever remember my Origin asking me to select a language when I installed some games. Welp, time to reinstall MoH and Dead Space to see.

Origin with Mexican VPN.
Origin with Mexican VPN.
I didn't do this with BF4, and it end up costing me around $120 CDN for BF4 and premium. Think ima have to cancel my titanfall pre-order and get it using this mexican VPN shiz
You should document instructions on how to build that!
I probably will, but it's really fuckin simple. It's basically a Teensy on a breadboard + some crocodile clamp wires + a Big Dome Push Button from Sparkfun + 44 lines of code to detect button press and send the keys The thing that took the most effort was figuring out how to wire up the damn microswitch properly [editline]6th March 2014[/editline]
Did you get red light sirens too?
Nah, there's enough of those in-game. The button does light up though, as you can see. [editline]6th March 2014[/editline]
#include <Bounce.h> const int bPin = 14; const int ledPin = 13; Bounce pushbutton = Bounce(bPin, 10); //10 ms debounce void setup() { pinMode(bPin, INPUT_PULLUP); //Init pins pinMode(ledPin, OUTPUT); } byte previousState = HIGH; // last state of button void loop() { if (pushbutton.update()) { if (pushbutton.fallingEdge()) //Button pushed { digitalWrite(13, HIGH); //Send XEEE aka Titanfall eject command Keyboard.set_key1(KEY_X); Keyboard.send_now(); Keyboard.set_key1(KEY_E); Keyboard.send_now(); Keyboard.set_key1(0); Keyboard.send_now(); Keyboard.set_key1(KEY_E); Keyboard.send_now(); Keyboard.set_key1(0); Keyboard.send_now(); Keyboard.set_key1(KEY_E); Keyboard.send_now(); //Set key to no key so we don't start holding E because that'd be silly Keyboard.set_key1(0); Keyboard.send_now(); } else if (pushbutton.risingEdge()) //Button released { digitalWrite(13, LOW); } } }
In fact here's the code so you can see how simple it is
A question about using the Mexican VPNs, do you still get the great game guarantee?
I just ended up using the hola! chrome extension when signed out add the game to your cart and proceed to checkout, then when it prompts you to sign in, turn off the VPN through the power button and not by switching back to the US servers.. kept doing that like a dumbass. After you turn it off sign in and pay through paypal
Let's hope it won't charge me 600 usd. :v: Not buying it yet though, waiting for reviews. Do you still choose your own country on checkout when it asks for residence or? Figured it might fuck up if it cross references with the Paypal account info.

Because you'd think the game is designed around having some delay during the eject sequence, due to human fingers.
Do you still choose your own country on checkout when it asks for residence or? Figured it might fuck up if it cross references with the Paypal account info.
I used my real address, since I don't want to fiddle with my paypal crap.
much quicker than humanly possible but to the game it won't matter
Neat.
So i went through customer support to cancel my pre-order so i can get the deluxe with a mexican VPN, but the game is still in my game list waiting for the preload tomorrow. I've restarted origin, my computer, etc. and refreshed the games list and this was about 5 hours ago now but the game is still there. Not sure if it's a bug, if the guy didn't actually cancel my pre-order, or if he just refunded the money and didn't take the game off my account. Guess i'll find out tomorrow for the preload?
So, five days gentlemen. Five mo'
So I just bought Titanfall from Mexican Origin and for once actually looked at the terms and service you have to agree to in order to check out trying to find if there was any ramifications for doing this, couldn't find shit mainly cause I'm not a lawyer and didn't know what to look for. Anyways I'm happy I saved some dosh on this game and was wondering if there was any fees you had to pay for using a debit card to buy something in a foreign currency?
A question about using the Mexican VPNs, do you still get the great game guarantee?
The great game guarantee warrant thingy? yes according to my purchase reciept
much quicker than humanly possible but to the game it won't matter
And if it does matter, I can easily add a delay between the buttons.
What time does Origin follow? Is it Pacific or does it just match your region? I want to know when these pre-load and unlock times are.
