Using VPN to unlock the game early and whatnot sounds fine. But replacing the EXE? Not that desperate to play Titanfall.

However, I will keep an eye on this and will try to post a response from official source (how Respawn will react to this).

Actually, it's not an .exe replacer but instead an additional "launcher" like thingy.
I would really want to try this but I want to wait to see if they say anything about that...

It's ~20 GB of download, rest is uncompressing and installing.
After all of this, folder will be 50 gb heavy.
So if i do this Mexican deal, will my game be region locked to North America?

However this doesn't modify any existing executable.
From what I have read, its actually a modified beta file that skips date check, it doesn't overwrite any other file in the game directory. It works as an additional launcher, so uhm... I just don't know.

assuming the second half of the preload process is the unpacking, mine's been at it for about 2 hours at 65%. is this normal?

Yeah, Origin is honest about the total install size, but I'd wish it would list the actual download size when starting it.
Glad I'm installing it to a separate solid state drive with enough room. (I wish those were 3.5" like regular ones, plus the 1 terabyte ones didn't cost $500+)

I think you can simply unlock by a IP proxy program, unlock the game, launch it, and turn the proxy off to play the game. There might not be many servers up, so you might be messing around on the training level for a day or two.
It worked for previous Origin games, like Mass Effect 3 and Battlefield 3/4. No one got banned and whatever crap happened to stuff like saved progress was probably the game's fault, not the Origin servers.

Yeah I used a VPN for BF4 and I was fine, this is adding a new exe (not replacing the original) to just tell the game that it's the 11th.
Does anyone know if there's gonna be a way to change the game's language by changing files or something similair to that?
Fuck it, I did it. Preloaded from Origin Mexico and it's in English.

Just did using the unlock .exe file.
Everything works as intended, the game even records stats and levels. I've seen some dudes over lvl 10.
The problem is that the server are near non existent and extremely unstable. you gotta spam "play" for this or that server region at a specific time and hope you eventually get entry. Then you search for classic multiplayer attrition and you'll generally find at least 1 group.
Once in-game, it works as intended. No problem, other than being kicked out after a game or two because the server closes.
It's honestly not worth it considering you spam a button for 20 minutes just to get 1 game.

Use a VPN so that the origin website thinks you're mexican (chrome extension "hola!" does the job well). That way it'll show the prices available for that country.
Then browse their store and purchase the game like you normally would up until when they ask you to log in. At that point disable your VPN, log in and complete the purchase, the currency should still clearly show Mexican pesos, which is 599MXN plus tax. In CAD, this is roughly 45$

Can anyone at least guess? Having to play the game in russian is a big turn off for me and I can't buy it from a different country because I don't have access to a credit card/paypal.
