Nobody is getting banned for using a different executable. Neither it's cracked because it's just the executable from the beta. And it only works if you own a legit copy on your Origin account.

And EA has banned for less.
Just pre-ordered the $80 deluxe edition for $45.. Thanks Mexico <3
thinking about going to midnight release I went to GTA V and that took like 3 hours, I'm assuming it'll be a lot smaller but do you guys still think it'll be a long wait?
I can't believe you guys would bother with cracked exes and even vpns and shit how can you not wait just a few days
Come on, at this point you should know this happens pretty much every single time.
I have this feeling servers will be at capacity on launch and I'll have a terrible time. Can't seem to shrug it off either.
err my bad, I mean I have everything set to high but texture resolution set on high with texture filter on 4x as well as anti aliasing, from those settings I get a bit of stutter and random frame drops
How about an i5 760 @ 2,8 Ghz (quad core), GTX 470 and 4 GB Ram? Do you think medium will be ok?
Just preordered using the passive money I made from stocks :v: Guess i'll preload it while sleeping.
Seeing that I can't play this game on super max settings almost makes me want to get a 780, but getting a new GPU just for one game is pretty dumb. [editline]9th March 2014[/editline] oh my wow... I just saw a gen2 pilot. are you fucking kidding me
Have to say, haven't had this much fun playing an fps in fucking years. The maps are a big reason for this, they are all amazing. even with 10 frames per second i'm enjoying the hell out of this 9/10
I pre-ordered, why isn't it showing up in my library for pre-load?

Wait, can you preload the game? :v: If so, why haven't I started doing that yet edit: Should I get digital deluxe or not?
I have old GPUs & CPUs, I'll buy new ones after my Master's Degree. Will have to play on medium-low until then.. Athlon64 XII 640 (2.8ghz) Geforce EVGA GTS450 (1gb) ram 4gb DDR2
It's probably the CPU fucking you over. [editline]9th March 2014[/editline] And the RAM.
It's probably the CPU fucking you over. [editline]9th March 2014[/editline] And the RAM.
Yeah those pieces are from, like, 2009 minus the gpu
Yeah those pieces are from, like, 2009 minus the gpu
At least with a GPU you can get away with lowering the graphics to Nintendo 64 levels but very rarely can you do anything when you have a weak CPU. Like right now I have a GTX 770 but my FPS tanks a lot because my older CPU is being a bottleneck. I need to replace it along my motherboard which is going to be a pain in the ass.
Here is the one I'm using, just put it in the titanfall directory and launch it from the new .exe http://puu.sh/7pc85.rar edit: man i sure do love playing on asian servers [t]http://puu.sh/7pbuL.jpg[/t]
no other files? cuz I'm getting some funky-ass static noise from this in the menu

fuckin (null)[a2050000] to you too, titanfall :( Did they disable the modified exe thing from playing or what, then
So has anyone found out what exactly prestiging does?
So has anyone found out what exactly prestiging does?
Uhm... nothing? It's just to keep you occupied. It also speeds up your EXP gain by certain % each Generation rank. Like on Generation #9 you have ~400% exp gain (Don't remember correct values!!! but that's close enough). Generation #2 is probably 110% or 120%. EDIT:
Generation 1 (starting) = 1x Generation 2 = 1.1x Generation 3 = 1.2x Generation 4 = 1.3x Generation 5 = 1.5x Generation 6 = 1.8x Generation 7 = 2.1x Generation 8 = 2.5x Generation 9 = 2.9x Generation 10 = 3.5x
With those XP boosts gen 10 will be easily achievable within like a few weeks, probably gonna see our first gen 10 within the first week. takes away the whole point of prestige if it gets easier and easier to get through the ranks

I have already spent 5 or 6 hours playing "cracked exe" and I'm rank 37. BTW, does anyone else have this weird feeling that game is not running smooth enough? It keeps showing me 60 fps (fraps, I know it's locked to 60 fps unless you turn on Vsync in game and force it off in your GPU settings). Game feels like it's running on 25-60 fps, it's not consistent and fluid at all. Sometimes movement is smooth and fluid, on the other hand 5 seconds later it feels like you are running around with 25-30 fps, however fraps still shows 60 fps. Current settings: 1920x1080 AA off AF off Textures Medium Ragdolls High (happens on Low too) Models High (happens on Low too) Rest is on lowest possible I've tried both vsync on (vsync forced in gpu off, to unlock FPS)... my fps were reaching 100-120, game felt the same, jumpy and not smooth enough. Currently been playing with vsync off ingame, as I can feel less input lag/weird movement... but it's still weird as hell. Don't know what the hell is going on. Gonna check lowest everything tomorrow. Anyone had similar issues?
That seems wayyyy too quick. Just roughly based off that 15 hour figure it would take around 90 hours to get to max rank in generation 10. That's assuming that's just how long it takes an average skilled player to get through the first generation. To put that into perspective, it took me about 150 hours in BF4 to get to the maximum rank (110, was 100 but they moved it up) and that was with 1200-1300 score per minute. The average player has anywhere from 400-600 score per minute. Even if that 15 hour figure is based off of a skilled player, that's still not that long at all. 90 hours for someone who enjoys the game and has time to play on weekends will be gone through in a few months
Okay looked around a bit and apparently you have to complete some specific challenges all the way to advance to the next generation. http://titanfallforums.net/showthread.php?tid=447 Still pretty lame they don't give you extra custom slots or something like that for prestiging.

Looking at the challenges you have to complete in the Gen 9 - 10 range, it still seems like challenges i could complete over the course of just leveling up through that generation but i could see how some people would have more difficulty completing some of those challenges, which i like. Things like get MvP 50 times or get X amount of kills with a certain weapons will make it interesting
...why's quick progression a bad thing? More toys means more fun, right? Or has the skinner box gotten THAT comfy?
...why's quick progression a bad thing? More toys means more fun, right? Or has the skinner box gotten THAT comfy?
I enjoy slower progression, like in BF2. In BF2 it would take hours to get from one rank to the next, and you would have to actually work to get to that next rank and then choose carefully what weapon or gadget you wanted to unlock knowing that if you chose and then changed your mind after, you've got another long and tough haul till you get another unlock point. That engaged me far more than these modern systems where seeing someone at max rank generation 10 isn't something that makes you go "Woah, awesome" like seeing a Colonel or General in BF2 did. I don't like the idea of in 5-6 hours already being well over half way into the ranks (not counting the prestige stuff).
