People are already prestiging in the us when it won't be released for 5 more hours EA, please reset everyone's levels
I'm a dumbass and pre-ordered retail, but boy I can't wait to be steam rolled by people that prestiged multiple times already.

Nooow I understand why the beta left such a good impression on me. Is there an option to disable chat in the options ála Blacklight?
Oh man. I was like "Did I just see that?".
Didn't even save the guy, what pricks the pilots are
kill those dragons and you get 100 points, i recommend it
Is there no way to actually resume the campaign?
Stupid Titanfall, will work with the Steam overlay just fine but won't load up the Origin overlay :v:
So I bought it using Hola now, but it says the payment failed on Origin, but my bank account says that I lost $48 to Origin. I'm worried :c
Stupid Titanfall, will work with the Steam overlay just fine but won't load up the Origin overlay :v:
Doesn't work with either for me.
Well... Considering it was 3rd day I was playing Titanfall (mostly 2 days actually, as couldn't connect for most of the Saturday), I've spent 13 hours and 30 minutes up to this time and I'm already Generation 2 Rank 41 :S ... Ranks are going REAAAALLLYYY fast in Titanfall. Yet I still can't stop playing, it's an amazing game.
So, do you actually need the Origin overlay to invite someone?
Is there no way to actually resume the campaign?
You can resume a campaign, not sure if you have to clear a whole campaign to see this but when you go to play campaign, you'll see 9 chapters with faction icons indicating that you had beat it with that faction, and there's also a button up top that says "Resume Campaign" so yes I believe you can resume campaign. Resume Campaign

If it can't find a match on that level it sets you backwards to the upcoming closest match I believe, which is one of the reasons why I really really hate campaign, if one team is getting wrecked and people start rage quitting, game is gonna have to look for more players and would you look at that! The only match is some dudes at a level you've done already. So yeah, be sure to spam in chat "If you're taking a beating, suck it up we all too want to just get the unlock and get the fuck out".
Noone's playing Hardpoint, I'm stuck with Attrition :(
Oh man. I was like "Did I just see that?".
wait, titanfall has dragons? does it have an actual singleplayer or is it just offline with bots?
Campaign multiplayer.
wait, titanfall has dragons? does it have an actual singleplayer or is it just offline with bots?
Neither I believe.
Campaign is essentially the same as multiplayer, just with a story line thrown in and a specific map rotation. You play against other people.
I still have to wait for my paypal before buying this game, which is Thursday.
I wonder how the ending will work for the campaign. Will there be two endings that depends largely on how many times you win or lose? or will there only be one ending?
There's only one ending. The endings to the missions don't even change depending on whether you win or lose either. To get both unlocks from beating the campaign with both factions you essentially have to play it twice.
Not sure why they did it like that tbh, it hinges on other people not getting pissed off and leaving if their team is being steam rolled, and if they do you may get thrown back and have to repeat levels again. Luckily the last one I did, we lost the first map and won the other 8. Would have much preferred a campaign to be vs bots, so I could do it when I wanted, leave if I had something to do, and then come back not having to do half of it over again. At least they could have used that to settle people in to the game who may not want to dive right in against other players, and let them get to grips with the game and maps a bit first. Oh well.
I highly doubted it would happened, but I would've been kinda cool for both sides, all 12 players + bots to team up to take down something like a Jaguar-sized Titan as a final boss/final mission, but hey wishful thinking. [editline]10th March 2014[/editline] The way the campaign is now, it would've better to make a bunch of mini campaigns where you just go through a set of modes and maps, each taking about 30-60 minutes to finish.
so wait, are the rebels or the organized infrastructure people the bad guys because tbh fuck those browncoat rebel scum
so wait, are the rebels or the organized infrastructure people the bad guys because tbh fuck those browncoat rebel scum
There are no bad guys, it's a war over who controls the colony, the colonists who live their or the larger government to poured money, time, and effort to create the colony.
So do any computer savvy people in this thread think my comp could run this with a decent framerate? I don't feel like blowing 60 bucks on a game that won't even work. I have a 64 bit Windows 7 computer with an AMD Athlon II X2 250 processor (~3.0ghz) and a GTX 650 ti graphics card, and 4 GB of ram. As long as I can play on low I'll be happy. I really don't care about how pretty a game is.
There are no bad guys, it's a war over who controls the colony, the colonists who live their or the larger government to poured money, time, and effort to create the colony.
There's always a bad guy. Who's more deserving of the land? Who's at fault here?
Bought it off GMG with a discount a few hours ago, almost done with the install.
Territory disputes are never clean cut. Arguably both parties are deserving of the land.
So what happens if the enemy team beats you on a campaign mission? Do you have to keep replaying that mission until your side wins to progress further?
