it's a reskinned cod and if you disagree then keep on trucking with that blindfold on.
I'm going to continue to know otherwise based on the hands on experience I have with the game. People like you gotta stop being so ignorant about this game.
Really the best way to describe how i felt while playing was to compare it to BF4.

Guess I was half right from this post I made 3 weeks ago :v:
I imagine the mechs will be like LAV's in Battlefield where you can rack up kills pretty easily but if you overextend and get away from your infantry support (guys to shoot the baddies aiming launchers at you, to shoot baddies jumping on your mech to disable it) you will die really fast.
This game feels too balanced, my Titan's don't last very long because there's no health regeneration and a lot of people can shoot at you from a lot of angles, but man are Titans great for mowing down things that aren't other Titans
What graphics card are you using? 1GB of video ram hardly says much about the GPU itself since it could be an extremely low end model that lacks the minimum requirements to run this game.
What processor are you using? Knowing the clock speed itself isn't good enough without knowing the model name of it.
What are your other computer components?
Here's what speccy says.

also ignore the incredibly hot components, it's super hot in my living room right now 'cause we've been blasting the heat all day.

also, the graphics card is the 6770. speccy doesn't say that for some reason.
Still no e-mail back, come onnnn its going to take an eternity to download this with Australian internet
How does a motherboard even get that warm? I've never seen mine get above 24c

Passively cooled chipsets in cases choked for air can do that. People often forget to clean off their northbridge heatsinks when they're cleaning their computer resulting in rather toasty motherboards.
ok here's the xbone code since I have no use for it

post if you take it

I got an email about an hour ago to say I will receive another email in the next 2 hours. They are probably just a little bit busy.
No email.
So much for it being an "open beta"
it's not an open beta...

It's a closed beta, and keys will go out through the 17th or so.

They never said that it was going to be an open beta.
It was clear all the time, that there will be only invites.

The weakest component is your graphics card. Currently we don't know the system requirements and overall performance of this game as it is. This card probably might be fine enough for the game though. You may or may not have to turn down some graphical settings.
Besides from that all your other components are fine so upgrading won't be necessary as it is.
Also if your motherboard temperature readings are correct then you really need to clean and dust out your PC. It's extremely high. Re-organize the wiring if it's messy and restricting airflow. It'd also help the other components as well.
got into beta, usual origin never gets past " resuming download"
god why is their client so shit i swear with every game its the same thing
I'm considering getting one of these xbone codes that people post on here and email them for a replacement, though, I fear if they catch up with what's going on ... I will never get a real one anyway, due to their revenge for wasting their time ;( .
All I wanted is just wake up at Friday morning and see a new mail with a beta key in my box, was it just that much? Now my life has no sense ;(
Ok so , i can begin the download but about 5 minutes later it just stops and prints "DOWNLOAD ERROR", I Manually resume the download and it keeps fine for 5 minutes and so on
anyone else getting this?
Since I'm not in yet - how are people dealing with the mechs so far? In BLR players on foot almost completely ignored their anti-mech options and so mechs either stomped for minutes without much resistance or they were taken out by other mechs.
Which caused people to hate on mechs in general, but unlike in Titanfall it wasn't core gameplay in BLR, so no direct comparison there.
From what people posted here it definitely seems like early Titans give you extreme snowball potential. Then again, small teams and a matchmaking system that has to evaluate a lot of newcomers/skill uncertainties will probably also factor into that.
snip
So, what I'm hearing right now is that people haven't yet learned how to play... and therefore Titanfall is a failure?
Well, Im disappointed with optymalization, I hoped for something better. I get weirdass stutter for no reason.
Very few PC codes are being sent out apparently and even then, most of the emails accidentally contain the Xbone code. They really fucked up, didn't they.

i'm just salty as fuck, i want to play the goddamn beta before i have to start studying properly

If you applied for a PC key you should be able to contact support to change it.
Just got my e-mail and I'm in the beta :D

Thanks. Did that. Hopefully it doesn't take them 48 hours to reply. I already need a day to download the game itself.
