My GTX 590 was doing that during the beta too. Was probably 69c

Aaawwww yeahhhh. Now to do it all over again.
huh, that's fucking weird. is it hot? drivers?
Only happened once, and Im updating the drivers now. Hopefully that'll fix it.

I mean at least you won. Had a 129-point attrition game I still lost because, along with most people doing poorly, one guy had 0 attrition points. You gotta try for that
Played 2 rounds of hardpoint...and yes, it is like you just said.
Not only it's boring as hell, it's also broken mechanic wise.
You get like +75 points every 4 seconds or so for just sitting on an objective, beside that you also get bonus for killing enemies from within that objective, so if you see bots coming outside, shot them...extra 25 points for defending the point.
I really don't like hardpoint mode, Attrition and Pilot hunter are much more fun, imo.
Get the double xp burn card, rack up 3000+ points.

Funny, Hardpoint is my favorite mode by far. Attrition is just too aimless in my opinion (though it's still my second favorite).
Haven't played Pilot Hunter yet because I'm not interested in straight up DM.

Not too special, but I wanted an excuse to use Xbox's Game DVR.
Sooo glad the Aussie servers are up now. It's fucking fantastic now.

I like Pilot Hunter much more than Attrition, because you make a difference just by staying alive. You can do hit and run attacks on groups of pilots and not worry about the enemy team just murdering grunts and winning.
I honestly think Attrition is ruined by how idiotic grunt AI is.
most of them dont even shoot their guns.
who cares
fast xp
and all that matters is killing pilots + titans, they get you the big points

Smart pistol and groups of grunts will rack up the points faster.
Smart pistol and groups of grunts will rack up the points faster.
Not enough grunts, not close enough together. And are we talking attrition points? I don't get to 90-100 points by killing grunts. It's all pilots and titans.
EXP too really. The only way to make grunt killing viable for exp boost is burn cards. And still, they aren't packed in close enough to kill at a speed that it makes a difference.

You havent been winning a lot of attritions have you?
Smart pistol down all the grunts you come across, and deal with the pilots and titans as they come.
I've had matches where I alone got 100 points for my team through nothing but grunts
What does the whole generation thing give to you as a player?
ah ok

Absolutely nothing except a little tag with "G2" or "G3" depending on your generation. really disappointing, there's no reason to do it

Isn't it literally the exact same thing as prestige in CoD? I'm sort of tempted to do it because of the increased XP gains, but I don't want to lose all of my unlocks.

I get my points by hunting grunts and taking spectres, enhanced smart pistol takes a spilt second to kill all grunts on screen, all you have to do is seek them out. Doing this makes it harder for enemy pilots to kill me which puts my team ahead.
hohoho, its happening

I like to rodeo titans and when they start to get out I throw a sachel on to the ground in front of the titan and kill the pilot getting out.
I have huge performance issues in Titanfall.
i5 3450 @ 3,1, 8GBs RAM and a GTX 560 Ti (i know, not a very good combination). Game is installed on a SSD and I am not able to play at medium settings. There are still huge fps drops.
Other games with the source engine are running at highest settings with full AA and AF.
Any tipps?
my game just finished unpacking the audio, then the install stopped and its stuck at 20% when i restarted it
is this the directX issue ive been hearing about?

ok nevermind, it just jumped back to 31% and its unpacking the audio again

Well not really. In CoD, you actually get something other than a little tag. Usually you get more customization slots, custom skins, etc. but in titanfall you get nothing other than the tag itself.
I also met an aimbot guy yesterday, was pretty unmistakeable on the killcam.. I don't even understand why, this game is easy as hell.
so, equipping Dead Man's Trigger and slapping satchels all over the hardpoint you're defending is officially the best thing ever.
allah akbar
What does the whole generation thing give to you as a player?
Absolutely nothing, just like the whole leveling system, the game gives you stuff on a timer and then takes it away from you so you can wait for it again.
It's stupid, useless and has no place in a shooter.
If I prestiged or generation'ed or whatever, do I lose the Titan chassis unlocks? Because that would be a bummer.
