Holy shit the R-97 is so terrible compared to the C.A.R., especially if you have counterweight on the C.A.R.
Does WAY less damage, and only has a slightly faster fire rate over the C.A.R. otherwise they are the same gun. Put counterweight on the C.A.R. and in close - medium range you never have to ADS and can kill people far, far quicker than the R-97. R-97 is just a shitty pea shooter

Im having fun in gen 3 farming kills with it. Loads of fun to hit people 8 times and they still have ~50 health.

That's what i'm stuck doing as well. It's not quite as bad as killing all these titans with the railgun, but it's still a pain in the ass. The satchel charge one is at least fun to do

My girlfriend fixed that by switching the textures to trilinear filtering with her radeon card.

It has practically no iron sight, as much recoil as a heavy pistol, has shit accuracy and shitier range.
I just realized that you can capture and return the flag while in a titan
I had a guy rodeo my almost dead titan so I dashed off a cliff and ejected.

I think I have ran out of ammo on my G2A4 once, beside that... I've run out of ammo like 5 times now in titans !!! I never thought it was possible...but yea, it is, then I have remembered the total ammo count on symthic, saying chaingun has total ammo of 2100.
Also, am I the only one that doesn't bother with exiting titan, when someone rodeo you and I don't have smoke/clusterfuck ready? Manual ejection and killing them in air is more satisfying for me. They never expect 75% healthy titan to enter ejection mode and send them flying.

It kills in 3 bodyshots at every range. Only other automatic weaps that kill faster are the R-101C and CAR, and only at close range. 2 headshots from it will kill if you're missing 6.2% HP.

Considering you are against anyone with a brain, they will kill you as soon as you exit the titan.
Either by throwing a satchel at you, spamming 2 arc nades or just shooting you.
Bear in mind, that they will have more time to get a jump on you, as you must go through animation of exiting the titian, before you can do anything. In the time that animation ends, they can already wait at you while ADSing.
Another thing, getting new titan usually takes like 1 minute or just few seconds, depending on what you are doing. Damaging other titans lowers the time on your cooldown, killing pilots and minions does it too. Especially that I'm now playing mostly Pilot Hunter, I think that killing someone without much of a risk by ejecting early is much more profitable, than risking exiting my titan, in case they have some ace in ther sleeves or some enemy titan can get close in the meantime and melee me.
This mostly depends on gamemode, yet still...both attrition and pilot hunter... I guess going early ejection, saves some points from being transfered to enemy team...
In attrition, dooming a titan gives 5 points, ejecting earlier should prevent that?
Not sure, haven't tested as I haven't played attrition in a while.

Ah, forgot to put nuclear into consideration.
Beside killing a pilot that rodeo you, if you manage to hit 1 or 2 titans with nuclear (not even dooming them), your titan will be back in like 10 seconds when you hit the ground from that ejection...

I literally bashed chest first in to an Atlas while a Stryder was next to me and another Atlas was behind the first. We were behind the building, right under the sky bridge. I ejected, land on the roof of the building that normally houses C, and got in position to watch as the Titan blew up.
The result? Not a fucking thing. Even with the extended radius, they took no damage whatsoever. And they didn't dodge, they never left the spot they were standing in. The Stryder definitely couldn't have even if he wanted to, he had no room to escape quick enough. Yet no one was affected.
