Apparently there is a "peeking" thingy.... Never seen that before o.O...
Yeah just stick to a ledge and press up just a little. It's fantastic in Trainin Grounds.
I have used the peeking mechanic, but I find it to be both a benefit and danger. As he says in the video, you can scope the area you're about to jump into, which is great. But if there actually is a Pilot up there, he'll just shoot you once in the head and you're a goner. Same applies to those that come from behind. I don't use it a whole lot, since I think that the risk of death greatly outweighs the benefits. I'd rather just jump and at least be able to fight back, than just provide a free kill.
I noticed the loading screen for Training Ground says that the pilot training program has a 98% fatality rate. That seems lime an absurdly inefficient use of manpower.

So why can you break the necks of Spectres by twisting their heads 180 degrees Isn't that a really big flaw in production, couldn't they have given them a 360 degree rotation
If the burn card is anything to go by, spectres aren't entirely machines
Makes me wonder if that's where they get all the uh... "volunteers" from.
How in the world am I to effectively doom titans with the arc cannon? On full charge it does shitty damage
How in the world am I to effectively doom titans with the arc cannon? On full charge it does shitty damage
I think you have to be close.

I just saw somebody pull off a 10pilots 28 minions kills 0 deaths attrition match while using a longbow sniper. How is that even possible
I just saw somebody pull off a 10pilots 28 minions kills 0 deaths attrition match while using a longbow sniper. How is that even possible
It's a pinpoint accurate semi auto 2 shot kill hitscan(?) rifle.

How is that even possible
The DMR is really good, if you know how to use it. It can one-shot everything with a headshot (duh), and can otherwise two-shot everything. Also, you can panic shoot with it in close quarters. Unlike many other snipers in other games, the DMR actually hits where it should if it had a crosshair.

I'll give it a second chance then

Filmed a match this afternoon, did a little commentary on it nothing special but it shows some fun gameplay and shows a few features. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10K9rCuOPpg

Satchels are extremely overpowered, easy instant kill with no precision required
I somehow manage to kill myself with them almost every game because I double tap F and throw one I didn't intend to.
I kill others with satchel charges about as often as I kill myself with them [editline]20th March 2014[/editline] Not that I mind it because satchel charges are fun to use

Well time for me to uninstall cuz i'll never do better than that in an attrition match

I think they really need to add an indicator for the satchel charge while it's in the air. I don't think it necessarily needs a nerf because it isn't fire and forget, but if people are going to use it like a grenade then it needs the indicator as well.

Quite annoying
speaking of pilot ordnance, how are the arc mines? are they worth a damn compared to the other options? i have basically been rolling exclusively with arc grenades mostly because people with satchel charges piss me off and i don't want to become what i despise [editline]20th March 2014[/editline]
Yea... there could be an icon/indicator for the first 3 seconds after it has been thrown, after that it should be like it is currently, "totally invisible".
it doesn't really go completely invisible. smart pistols lock onto them. one of the most useful things about them.

Namely to ambush people or make it difficult for them to get to their Titans/dropships. It also depends on your build. Obviously it won't fit a run 'n' gun build.
We need an ordinance that explodes on contact. Imagine the fun chasing after somebody on CTF.
We need an ordinance that explodes on contact. Imagine the fun chasing after somebody on CTF.
AKA the triple threat proximity upgrade. I'm not against it, I just don't think they'll add one.
I did it!
