It seems like I'm getting way better at killing Titans as a Titan than killing pilots as a pilot.
What's everyones record in Attrition?
Mine is 146 points (28-4-14-0)

Gotta love having 146 points while everyone else on your team has 116 points combined. It adds up to 262, so I have no idea what everyone else did other than (hopefully) going AFK for 75% of the match.
This is quite literally the worst team I've seen so far in this game, which is why I had the reaction in the screenshot.

Spyglass is the best character in the game. His voice is so hot.
Also, anyone else agree that Tactical Smoke fucks shit up? It's really useful and honestly I rarely use any other tactical ability.

Fuck I thought you guys were just being melodramatic about the matchmaking. But the game I just played... No titans called from friendly players and their extent of "helping" was 3-4 people just chilling in a single building, getting completely fucking cleaned out thanks to the enemy dude smart enough to use the shotgun. Go back to CoD you useless trash.

I offered to feed a gen5 pilot some eject kills because I felt his pain and soon befriended him, he then invites me to a lobby with me being a Gen8 and the other people in there being gen 6,5,4,4, and a 3. We went into games and saw people just quitting the lobby the moment they saw what they were up against, goddamn that was so funny.
Anyway, what gamemode ends really really fast? I need 60 friggin game wins to hit gen9...

I'm having a pretty hard time getting Titanfall to run well. I love the game, but it can be difficult to play.
I've got an i5 3.3 quad, 470 GTX, and 8 GB of ram running on 8.1, but whenever long distances are rendered on my screen, I get 25-35 FPS. Indoors is almost a completely solid 55-60 FPS.
I wonder if they'll release any more optimization patches.

I feel your pain; i7 920, gtx 560 Ti, 12gb ram - Can't for the life of me get a solid 60 anywhere but inside.
Trying to snipe is an absolutely horrid experience too, as soon as I scope my framerate just goes down the crap chute. I swapped to the acog just to try an mitigate some of the framerate loss, and it works for whatever reason.
Best guess is that the acog is just an fov change, while scopes actually have to render the scene again.
It wouldn't be as big a deal if aiming wasn't directly tied to the framerate, but unfortunately it is, so shitty framerate means sluggish aiming, leading to undershots ( usually ) or overcompensation ( rarely ).
Oh. I'm sorry you're having the same problems I am, but I'm also glad it's not just me. Maybe they'll be able to release some good graphical fixes, because if you're running all that and still can't hit 60, it's a problem on their end. The game is beautiful at times, but some of the textures are very lacking and I don't see why the game is so difficult to run.

I also turned the game down from recommended settings which was mostly high with a few mid, to mostly low with a couple mid + halved resolution ( 1280x720 instead of 1920x1080 ). It was super disappointing honestly.
The resolution shrink helped the most I think, though it's still far from perfect and definitely not all that pretty with most everything set to low :\
In addition I did some little tweaks like turning vsync off ingame, turning it On - Adaptive in the Nvidia control panel, and setting Titanfall's max pre-rendered frames to 1 in the same location
Yeah anti-aliasing is what seemed to do the most good for me. Before turning it off completely, I had 30-50 FPS everywhere.

I've done this a few times but I end up shooting the satchels (which are invisible once they stick to the titan) and killing myself.
Saw someone shooting a charge rifle up in one of those huge pipes on Rise, fired a cluster missile inside, and got a triple kill.
I'm pretty sure that's their spawn lol.
I play on PC with a controller, yet I'm still top of the scoreboard most of the time, often with half again as many points as the next best.
...Is this normal?
