can't actually get in any campaign missions, goodbye other titans
A good tactic I learned to do is to get Titanfall, rodeo an enemy Titan, wait until they get out of their Titan, jump off, deploy Titanfall onto enemy Titan, jump back on Titan. When your Titan lands you'll get shot up in the air. So satisfying.
Gen10 reached, time to uninstall
How long have you been playing? I've been playing this game for 2 weeks and I'm still in gen1.
How long have you been playing? I've been playing this game for 2 weeks and I'm still in gen1.
he pre-loaded it and was able to play the game a week or so before its release
Tried the new MM beta. Seems to work well so far, unless you start playing when it becomes late. Then you get the same unbalanced as heck MM as before, but that's a given since it has to make the skill gaps quite big to find a match. (I waited for around 3-4 minutes to find a match)

I just made it to level 49! Wooooo!
shitting on multi-gen people is so fun
Being in a higher gen doesn't necessarily mean you're a better player, just that you've devoted more time to the game :v:
What's the best titan weapon besides the 40mm and Triple Threat?
What's the best titan weapon besides the 40mm and Triple Threat?
...Yes? ( Probably the arc cannon if you can actually figure out how to use it correctly )
The chaingun is also pretty good if you use the "I'm a pussy bitch and will kite you to the ends of the earth while pecking at you little by little" play style. Yes I've been doomed multiple times by these Stryder douches hiding, running and gunning with the chaingun.
I've been getting gooser kills no problem now, I'm so used to it thanks to gen5 forcing me to do it. I got 50 goosers again when I was still in gen8 and then got about 30 more when I was gen9.
That's pretty insane. How'd you manage that?
Personally I quite enjoy the Quad, it's especially nice once you get the Rapid fire for it. But for the most part the Titan weapons are mostly upto choice. I've been able to deal decent levels of damage with quite a few of the weapons.

How'd you manage that?

Honestly even with that strategy the 40mm is a better weapon for the damage output it gives
I use the chaingun as my main titan weaponry since it has the range of beyond the horizon and whatever recoil the gun has which you can sooo easily control so I can literally pick off pilots from across the map. It also shreds squishes with ease so if you have really really great aim plus reflexes, you can destroy any pilot the moment they come around corners, I know the 40mm can one shot and all but I don't think it's as easy as the chaingun when sniping pilots across the map and shooting pilots jumping and parkouring everywhere. After the Gen5 goosers, I just kinda instinctively look for ejecting pilots now, even if the enemy titan is across the map and I see him coming out, my chaingun will sure nail him. The only time where I can't see ejecting pilots is if they have auto eject other then that if I'm really close to where the pilot had ejected, I can see his jet exhaust or if some people don't' have auto eject they usually try to cloak as soon as they eject so you can see him flicker as he flies out, try to shoot him fast so it disrupts his cloak and cause him to flicker again then you just keep shooting him. I also main the Carbine while on foot and will even shoot ejecting pilots since the carbine has barely any recoil at all too. Some people will always eject out of their titans when going to the dropship but doesn't do it directly under it, this is where I'm sitting somewhere at a decent distance to gun them down. Oh and shooting pilots out the air is the express lane to being called a hacker oh and in terms of Titan V Titan, I have core accelerator and I'm always killing every grunt or spectre I see so my damage core is like available to me to pop 90 percent of the time, plus rocket slavo does a great job at taking shields down.

I played the beta a while back, and i have to say, i love the Stryder chassis.
I too love that chassis. It's the triple boost honestly. Makes it so agile.
I run laps around people with the Stryder, I just hate how it looks. Atlas will always be my preferred.
Ogreload master race.
I run laps around people with the Stryder, I just hate how it looks. Atlas will always be my preferred.
I love the look of the Stryder. The thin, nimble chassis is gorgeous. It looks so sharp and swift.
Being in a higher gen doesn't necessarily mean you're a better player, just that you've devoted more time to the game :v:
Rank = Skill * Time
Rank = Skill * Time
/ by amount of times called a hacker
Rank = Skill * Time
Eh, you could be a really shitty, yet determined player who only increments his gen goal sparingly. You'd be a higher rank, but you'd still be a shitty player.
Not sure if anyone would know this but how do you think they got those hd looking shots of the nasa ships launching from the pad in the intro video.
I love the look of the Stryder. The thin, nimble chassis is gorgeous. It looks so sharp and swift.
I think I dislike it because it is exactly that, stripped down and thin. Something about the Atlas's rounded chestpiece/cockpit is aesthetically pleasing to me.
The Atlas is the most mechy imo but they're all cool in their own ways.
Atlas will always be my preferred chassis. Ogre feels just too... slow and big, while the Stryder can't take enough hits imo [editline]29th March 2014[/editline] the damage core is a very big plus for me as well
If you're taking many hits as a Stryder, you're playing him wrong. Dodge, dodge, and dodge, and dodge again. Also, take advantage of cover. That's the great thing about the Arc Cannon is I can step behind cover, charge it most of the way, then step out for just a moment to fire, then step back and start charging again. [editline]29th March 2014[/editline] I also use the Cluster Missile for the same reason. I can quickly fire it off and it just saturates the area with damage. With the others, they take too long to even fire and/or take too long to stop that you are exposed for a prolonged period of time. The cluster missile though is one shot that is quite quick and recharges at a decent rate. The only drawback is that it can be hard to aim at longer distances because it kinda spirals in flight, meaning it can miss just around the edge of a target. But being so quick to fire, and just being one rocket, a lot of times people won't realize its flying for them until it is too late and they can't grab it in time. Another great thing about the Arc Cannon, it can't be caught be the Vortex Shield, so if someone puts their shield up, you 'll massively damage the shield with one shot. That one shot can often be enough to prevent them from being able to get it back up again, leaving them well exposed to followup shots.
