rodeo atlases and shoot them when their shields are down
Easier said than done, my friend.
Easier said than done, my friend.
Because it is easy.
If you are having troubles with it, just go on LTS and take the Ghost perk (yes, the useless ability)... you will be like a god.
Almost none expects pilots to pop up early on, so you can hop on some titans with an ease.
Though I still think just shoting them from a distance is better, as you are not risking as much as when going for rodeo (even with a ghost).
Fuck this charge laser challenge. Seriously.
My strat was to abuse auto titans as much as I could. Would probably be easiest in hardpoint.
Fuck this charge laser challenge. Seriously.
make sure you use every amped version of it you get, the charge speed is a lot quicker so you can score a lot of crits in succession
wait, ghost perk allows you to rodeo other titans without clanking loudly on their back?!
Finally! I am finished with all challenges for gen. 3! Now I can enjoy the last few levels I've got left before gen. 4. What can/should I expect from that?

you've got challenges for the DMR, autopistol, quad rockets and charge rifle crits, so not that tough of a generation but will take some patience

The charge rifle is the 2nd best/easiest to use anti-titan weapon. Just juggle the charge if your target moves out of the way.

i got it done in a night so not really

And despite what some people say about the Arc Cannon, it rips Titans apart, especially if you put the Capacitor on there.

Arc Cannon is okayish against titans when capacitor is attached, however... it becomes useless against creeps and semi-useless against pilots.
Stock Arc Cannon kills creeps on just a smallest charge and pilots evaporate at 50% of the charge...
Being forced to charge the arc all the time to the max, sometimes makes it not worth it. Yea, sure...you can keep "juggling" it, but once you miss, you are open for counter attacks for a good while and trust me on this one, you can be nuked to the oblivion in that short while.

i think the arc cannon is manageable as it is, the capacitor didn't exactly seem that effective considering the damage increase against a titan isn't major and you will mostly be facing enemies rather than titans

actually it wasn't that bad.
I wish you could kill rodeoing pilots with the arc cannon by shooting a full charge at the ground while crouched
I mean, it makes sense, right? That much free electricity should travel across the skin of your frame and shock anything touching it

So should quadra rockets, triple threat and 40mm cannon, as they all have AoE.
Then you wouldn't see anyone going for the rodeo, as it would be a sentence of death... higher than it is currently.
I could swear you were able to kill rodeos with a 40mm if you use the the right wall.
welp unfortunately it was a bad decision to buy this game, loaded the tutorial once, couldn't load any maps after i finished it, decided to try loading the tutorial again and it wouldn't work, then after reinstalling it wouldn't launch. guess i should just get a better computer instead. $80 down the drain.
EA Good game guarantee refund?
EA Good game guarantee refund?
yep just did that, steam really needs this feature too.
Origin gets bashed a lot, but stuff like that's really good.
To be fair, they only started doing that because they had such a god-awful reputation and needed to do something to start repairing it.
So , has anyone played the 360 version yet? Any thoughts?
Wouldn't it be the same thing as the PC/Xbox One version, only at a lower resolution and the graphics toned down? Maybe 30fps?

wait really?
that's... horrible

Hm. Not true.
I haven't played the xbone version, but the 360 one is spectacular. Looks great, feels fantastic, and I haven't seen any weird graphics tearing. I didn't cap my FPS either. The one thing that does look odd is getting into a titan, I'm honestly not sure WHAT the inside is supposed to look like because it's basically different each time. Other than that, no complaints. Sometimes textures take a bit to pop in but in the middle of the action it doesn't really matter.
I hit level 30 in like eight hours. Is there any reason to prestige, which I assume is a thing?

prestiging is really just for funsies, and for people who like getting set challenges to complete each time
