I love how the other grunts are unharmed by the explosion. :v:
I really wish you could shoot through friendly dome shields, and electric smoke had team colored sparks. Speaking of electric smoke, boy do I love getting back to level 13.
Is there any place I can keep an eye on sales for Titanfall PC? I really liked the beta, but I don't want to pay above $30 for the full game.
mexican origin lets you get it for about $40 i think
Holy crap this game is amazing. I just played it all day.
So what loadout is everyone using? I keep wanting to try other guns but I'm having some fantastic success with the M2A4 or whatever the hell it's called. Takes a bit to get used to but I'm reliable with it now.

The cool thing IMO about loadouts is that if you choose to regen or follow the challenges, you are pretty much forced to use different loadouts.
I really like this idea, I think it does a good job keeping the game fresh.

It really does, except I rarely see people use ordnance that isn't satchel charges. Which is annoying at times to say the least.

When I was playing 2 weeks ago (Generation 10), I didn't really enjoy satchel charges that much.
I was doing way better with arc nades, due to them working as V40 minis from BF4 (Deals ~80% of damage to pilots), but beside that they also works as flashbangs for both, pilots and titans.
Also, 2 arc nades rapes Titan's shields, making it go down very easily when it's under fire from your other titans, thus making arc nade awesome support tool too.
The only place, where I found satchels relatively useful, were when I was rodeoing an enemy, he jumped out to deal with me and I just treated him with a satchel - "Free Kill Guarantee".
However you can just deal with enemy pilot by meleeing him, when he exits, as it takes him way longer to do so, than you (unless your perception is awful and you don't notice him leaving).
Oh yea, sometimes it is capable of dealing with low HP titans, by dropping couple of them on top, while rodeo... but to be honest it's really rare moment and Anti-Titan weapons would be more useful.
That ofcourse may be just my opinion.
All this is based on how people played 2-3 weeks after release.
I don't know if they finally "stopped using gamepads on PC", as that was my feeling when I was playing and raking TOP 1 80% of the games, ending with 85-90% winrate.
Yesterday I was messin around with mines, doomed 3 titans with them in a match. Feels amazing, they're stronger than the shock nades.

Though, you still need 2 mines to kill a pilot (thank god).
Never really used them for a bit longer...Actually when I think about it, there was no challenge for them when regenerating.
Can you tell me, how much damage they do to a healthy Atlas, if he walks over 2 of them (maybe 3)?
Ahaha I blew up the dropship on fracture with heavy payload and nuclear ejection.
I bet this is going to make some of you pretty angry...
Respawn Entertainment plans to release a Titanfall patch today that will give users the ability to play private matches, the company announced on Twitter.
Studio head Vince Zampella originally announced in early March that Respawn intended to add private matches with a post-release patch. "There's things that we want in the game that we didn't get to ship in the final game," he said.
Today's update will also reduce the requirement for the Gen 5 challenge called "Gooser," which tasks players with killing 50 ejecting Pilots in mid-air, from 50 to five. Respawn announced the change late last month, saying, "We went a bit too far with this challenge, especially considering the unique conditions that have to be met in order to have the opportunity to get a kill on an ejecting Pilot." The studio added that it will make special note of players who have managed to complete the challenge in its original incarnation, or who have already surpassed the new quota of five kills.
It's unclear which platforms today's patch will be available on. Titanfall launched March 11 on Windows PC and Xbox One, and was released April 8 on Xbox 360. We'll update this article with more information as it's available. In the meantime, you can check out our Overview video of Titanfall below.
woop, i've been stuck on 10 kills for quite a while, its not a fun challenge at all
Well sucks for the players who aren't forced to do gooser, I believe that challenge made me a better player, I now instinctively kill ejecting pilots with ease, even if the titan is across the map, if I see the fire plum, someone is gonna die. I played 2 matches today and got about 5 goose kills.

what titan weapon do you use?

The newest patch, for anyone interested. They've also included a small preview of the next patch at the bottom.
I mainly use the weps that are point and click, which is the Carbine and Chaingun, with the Chain I can nail anyone across the map. With the Carbine I can shoot decently well over long ranges if recoil isn't too strong, I feel like the recoil with firing the gun is random at times, there are times when there is close to no recoil when firing standing nonmoving and times where the control of the gun gets out of hand crouched and nonmoving.

Cool I think I'll try the quad rocket some more.
Aw yis I love the quad rocket. I'd love it if they upped the fire rate or flight speed of its attachment too, to bring it closer to the missle salvo and make me feel like the final missle circus machine
glad they're listening to players feedback, good guy respawn
So when is this patch actually releasing?
Should had made it atleast 25 goose kills, 5 is waaayy too low
Should had made it atleast 25 goose kills, 5 is waaayy too low
they based it on the average of players, so i guess most players can't get gooses/don't see pilots ejecting often enough, i think 5 is quite a bit too low but i would only up it to something like 10
How awesome would it be if we premade a team of 6 and every single one of us uses a spare titan card at the beginning of the round.

is it actually 1 goose per tier now
I went to start up titanfall and was greeted with a message saying I needed to update the game, guess it didn't auto update for me so I proceeded to update the game and went off doing something else, came back and noticed it's still not done yet and why my computer was running stupid slow for some reason, then I came back to the Titanfall updater and saw

I've no idea why it's verifying game files and don't remember that shit taking up 85GB what the fuck. After all that was done and it finished downloading the 90MB update, it started unpacking all 35GB worth of audio again. What the hell is going on!

Maybe it has something to do with the audio having been updated

Yep, same thing here.
Just started Origin to update, and it started verifying right away.
Man I was worried when people said the game got boring fast, for me this game has been non stop addiction. There are so many moments where I'm like "How did I do that?" Like jumping from titan to titan to escape a losing battle. This game is amazing.
