I should probably have mentioned the context as well: I meant for the challenge in gen. 4. Needing to get... 50 critical hits with it, I think.

put every amped charge rifle you have to use, that greatly reduces the charge-up time which makes it a lot easier to land crits

I maxed the challenge in ~2-3 hours? (while juggling the other g4 challenges ofc)
just play campaign on levels with the AI titans and rodeo them
alternatively, shoot rodeod atlases when shields are down
shield dropped stryder worked about half the time for me and ogre never

I'm not entirely convinced this actually works. The Wiki says it only works on Atlases, so I tried on them and it never counted my crits. I ended up camping around titan battles for a while to steal titan kills.

it worked for me. maybe sometimes you won't crit, and sometimes you will, but the fact is that you have a much better chance when you are riding a titan then when you are trying to follow a moving target from a distance. A lot of the time it can be hard to tell if it's a crit, the way to tell is if the hit marker is orange instead of white.
I had been dancing with this Ogre, long did he have the upper hand but I pulled off the most satisfying kills in the end.

Didn't they lower it to 5 at highest rank, instead of 50?
Back in the days, when I needed 50 gooser kills, I just went for LTS + Chaingun with extended mag and keep my eye on exploding titans for easy kills.
You need to learn how to track/spot cloaked pilots, as most newbies...sorry, I mean players, use auto ejection.
You will usually net like 3-10 pilots per full LTS game, at least that's was my average.
Yeah, they did lower it, I've been having shitty luck with it.
Arc cannon works for it too since it's hitscan

I just rodeo'd Titans until they auto-ejected and then threw satchels around me when we both went up.
Worked like a charm.
I used my Stryder burn card in the beginning of an attrition match and equipped it with an arc cannon, cluster missile, fast autoloader and the core recharger or extender.
It was so satisfying, charging it to 100% and then zap a grunt, watching the electricity arc over to adjacent pilots and splat them too. I had loads of double-kills aswell
Ended up with a great score

Sorry guys I'm sure you've been over it a thousand times but I don't want to try and find any info buried in the 147 pages.
Performance issues. I've got a pretty average computer running an i5 at stock with a GTX470, 4GB Ram, it runs absolutely fine when it wants to but I can't seem to shake the micro stuttering and failing to join lobbies all the time.
90% of the time I join the game only to be kicked out as it's trying to reconnect. When I do connect it runs butter smooth for a while then I get the stuttering, runs nice and smooth again then a dash of micro stuttering and so on.
I've read a few things to try and get it running ok by tweaking stuff in the driver and turning down graphics, but nothing seems to work. And it's a little tedious having to make changes then wait for ages getting into a game to test it. Does anyone have a list of tried and tested fixes or any advice? ta.
Has anyone else had trouble with Brian Surgeon? I've rodeo'd and doomed Titans and it doesn't count them.

I might be totally screwed. One of the challenges is getting 25 execution kills with the Stryder.
I've never finished the campaign.
Campaign is piss-easy, i wouldn't worry about it.
