from the looks of it, it really is, it's detailed as hell
you can open the cockpit and put the pilot in there, the 'eyeball' lights up red or blue and is rotate-able, and you can pose it loads of different ways

whats a good way to rack some kills with the DMR? I'm doing the challenge for gen4 but personally it's absolutely impossible to play using it. being stationary isn't much of an option in this game, so I don't have time to sit down and be a sniper. when mobile, I'll have an insane spread when firing from hip but it's so hard to aim with a DMR vs something like the C.A.R in close quarters

I suck balls at sniping so I pretty much just put on the ext mags + ACOG and used it like a shotty.

Try using the amped version in the long corridor on Overlook directly after spawning
you can get some serious kills that way

Not sure if you know but the HCOG on the LMG lets you aim faster. It's pretty dang good.
The TTK of a Slammer against Stryder's guts is the same as electric smoke against a pilot and it's kind of hilarious

Your best bet is to get up as high as you can. Pick off a few of the enemy Pilots. Displace, find another place to sit. That's how I beat the challenge.

Keep in mind that, unlike the Kraber, the DMR fires shots in ultra-velocity so you do not need to lead your target, meaning that you shoot straight at 'em.
Just click, kill and change position.

Hey, I figured I could ask here. There's some 48 hours testing phase for titanfall, and I was wondering if my laptop will run it only to have the game playable. Normally i'd just download it right away but it's 50GB for some reason and I don't know if I should. My specs are
Intel i5-3230M 2x2.60 GHz
8GB ram
GT720M 2 GB VRAM
Should run it well enough if you punch down all the settings.
It is modified source engine, after all, and it shows on the FPS counter.
Does anyone know how I can put the 38GB of uncompressed audio on a different drive or delete them?
I tried making a symbolic link but Origin still fixes it every time, any ideas?

Riveting gameplay.
That and the 5 hours I've had to deal with support, 2 of which were waiting and getting passed around support people.
Anyone else use the Arc Cannon? I almost exclusively use it and I feel like it's sorely misunderstood since I never see anyone-else with it. It offers so much utility in terms of blind and chaining that every team should at least have one guy using it. Plus it's great for goosers and picking off pilots.
edit: forgot to mention it can also blow up missiles.
Oh man I got this game I love being pitted against players that have been at this game since initial release.

doing this has done the trick so far! was mostly a manner of getting used to the sniper first and knowing how to use it. if only matchmaking would let me play, I could have those last 5 kills for the challenge then I'm done!
So I wanted to test thing out and I'm getting a "stopped working" after loading is complete, doesn't matter if I pick training or multi.
I have to give titanfall a lot more credit than I originally thought it deserved, its actually pretty dang fun. I would probably buy it if it had a singleplayer campaign.
How long will this be on sale for?

I've checked my ports and they should be properly forwarded, and I'm able to join a game that my friend is in, I just can't connect on my own.

I'm quite certain my GPU is not failing, because this only happens in Titanfall usually when I'm viewing the scoreboard and the screen returns to normal when I'm not looking at the scoreboard.
Alright so managed to make it work. Is there really no way to see the entire map? The minimap is all I have?
