I've seen people use keys that were already used. I don't think they're even checking anything.
For anyone still in the dark you should be able to go sign into origins website, then just click this link, wait an hour and when the support rep shows up, say you got a beta key for the Xbox but signed up for the PC beta, and that you'd like a PC beta key.

Generally they aren't asking for your old key, but if you need one to show them somebody posted one a few pages back. A string of 25 random characters might work too.

Man, it's not giving me an option to get in the ea support chat. Only says I can email about that.
Talked to EA last night, the girl spoke great English and she said I should get my account flagged in two hours after our conversation.
Woke up today and started the download! Can't wait to play once I get home tomorrow.

Sometimes it vanishes and appears out of nowhere in the last page process. Refreshing the page until it appears should do it.

Took them a half an hour to have one of their reps call me instead of live chat me. They are cracking down on it, asking people for codes. They aren't check to see if they are used or not, but they are still requiring codes.
So pro-tip, call them instead. Live chat takes longer and sometimes doesn't even work.
