I can kind of understand why the operators are giving the codes away: instead of having to explain anything to a client and deal with them it's just faster to give codes away. I'm even guessing that the supervisors know and gave up on filtering the legitimate requests from the fraudulent ones.

Uh. Isn't it justified by the fact that those are the guys who made COD4? I can't say that's an argument against the game, I want a better, more fluid and better-looking COD4 with new mechanics. The problem with the subsequent COD games was that they were almost literal carbon copies of COD4.

Reskinned Call of Duties are the actual CoD sequels.
This is more like a true CoD sequel. Future Warfare or something.
And there's nothing wrong with that, CoD's gameplay is fun.

I got that. Close the install window and from the games list select install again. I'm pretty sure it just skips the DirectX install when you do that. The game works fine.

from what I noticed, that error pops up if another game is downloading a patch or something
The install takes FOREVER so you just have to be patient, even if it looks like origin isn't doing anything

The actual size is 4-5 gb. Origin shows the speed of uncompressed data not the real download speed

When I got that error the install stopped and my options were to resume the download or close the installer. I got the error twice before closing, when I chose install from the games menu it installed flawlessly. Installing the audio files took forever.
Finally finished installing it and the servers down, thanks Microsoft!
