Yea, Titanfall looks extremely fun, I'll probably get 100+ hours out of it, which is worth the price imo.
Looks alright. We'll see how good it actually is when the beta hits.
To get into the beta, do you think you have to have pre ordered it? I'd like to see how well it runs on my computer before putting 60 dollars down.
I wonder how they will deliver the 360 Beta. I hope I get some sort of notification.

360 isn't getting a Titanfall beta, it's not even being developed by Respawn Entertainment.

Oh fantastic. I mean either way I will buy it because I love games that have mechs in them, but this will be nice to benchmark what I get.

YES!
I can't wait for the game, hopefully the beta will confirm my suspiciouns that this will be an awesome game
But will it support the sourcemod
they said that network code was reworked
so it is likely that they disabled plugins to prevent cheating

Buy it as a key then. Only half the price.
Yes, but this is a the first source engine title on the PC not to be released on Steam.
A company a while back made a metric fuckton of (really shitty) source games based on history channel documentaries.
Including a dogfighting sim.

Vindictus and Tactical Intervention were also non-Steam for a long time.
The game looks amazing to me and I'm hype as fuck, but I'll probably weep and sob on launch because I'm so broke I can't buy 60€ games, and even if I could, it would run like shit on my pc.
This game and PVZ:GW are steering me towards an Xbone for sure.
I love mechs in games, and these can melee fight each other? Amazing.
This game and PVZ:GW are steering me towards an Xbone for sure.
But both are on PC why not just not get an Xbone.
But both are on PC why not just not get an Xbone.
My current PC can't run 'em.
Plus, PVZ:GW has splitscreen, and my bro and I love sittin' on the couch for some co-op.
You can't have your cake and eat it too.
That's an awful expression because yes, I can go and buy a cake at Wal-Mart and eat it.

Kuma War: [Subtitle] was pretty much how it went, there was like 5 or so iirc

Then upgrade your computer so you can run them. You can do that for much cheaper than an Xbox One.
That's an awful expression because yes, I can go and buy a cake at Wal-Mart and eat it.
it means that you can't eat the cake and expect to keep it at the same time, can't have it both ways, can't have the best of both worlds etc
tho it wasn't used very well in this case
Then upgrade your computer so you can run them. You can do that for much cheaper than an Xbox One.
it depends on just how much stuff needs replacing - there was a video where a bunch of people tried to build computers in the same price range as a ps4/xb1....
it was painfully underpowered and they blanketed it with "Well it's enough to get you started..!!"
Then upgrade your computer so you can run them. You can do that for much cheaper than an Xbox One.
That depends hugely both on how out of date your PC is and how expensive PC parts are for you. Ireland, for example, has ludicrously high prices on components and not a whole lot of foreign sites ship here.
Hoping i can get into the beta when the sign-ups start because i'm not really wanting to blow $60 on a game which has the potential to die down quite quickly. I'm assuming signups will probably start within the next few weeks?

the actual expression is 'you can't eat your cake and have it too', which obviously makes a lot more sense
Titanfall Minimum System Reqs
OS: 64-bit Windows 7, 8, 8.1
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
RAM: 4GB RAM
GPU: 512MB VRAM, Radeon HD 4770 or GeForce 8800GT
requires 64bit, but it's still ok with an 8800GT :v:
requires 64bit, but it's still ok with an 8800GT :v:
Yeah? What does OS have to so hardware requirements? The game is running on the source engine.
d'aw fuck I only got 3GB ram.
edit: d'aw fuck I only got 32 bit as well
Oh fuck.
I still have 32bit. :(

Yessssss
Just good enough.
Yeah? What does OS have to so hardware requirements? The game is running on the source engine.
It's not Source really, the engine has been modified way too much to be considered Source anymore, according to them.
Also the fact that they're OK with 8800GT and yet require 4GB RAM is still ridiculous.
When is the beta again?
