I was playing fine with the ping that I had (though there were some lagging situations, I'll admit)
Also, it seems that people here are triple-polarized on the smart pistol. Some think it's the next coming of jesus, some think it's the devil's work, and some think it's a cheap weapon with no redeeming qualities.
I personally love the thing. It's great when focusing on parkour and grunts, but it's not overpowered (three locks for a pilot and then two auto-shots, so it's slower but easier to fire manually.)
So is there a way to go past medium for textures?
Smart Pistol and aimbotitng Auto Titans are whats bugigng me the most.
Auto titans with the rocket pod piss me off. The second I get anywhere near them to climb aboard I get blasted into oblivion.

I'm assuming you aren't on the main menu, but the pilot menu. Go back to the main menu and you can change the setting there.

Beta is until 6 pm pacific Feb 18, information about map (rumored 14/15), titan (3 revealed) and weaponry is limited.

Yes but outside is amazing, you can rush a titan, have it blow up for massive damage, switch to your titan weapon in the air and end it.
I love doing that.
I just realized that burn cards could be used during spawn. I assumed they worked like death streaks.
Totally different game now.

Yeah, I'm a little worried about this too. The gameplay is really fun, but I have a feeling it's not going to have a whole lot of content. Origin is still pretty meh for me, too, same for EA.
It's a really dumb thing, but it really bugs me that you can't see your body/legs while in a titan
