I'm not talking about tactics or strategies, I'm talking about core gameplay.
Yes it is cool to call the titan, yes it is cool to eject from it, yes it is cool to follow someone while jumping from a building to another, yes it is cool rodeo, yes it is cool to set titan in guard or follow mode...
But at a point you just realize that the unique things about the game are few and those things are really limited.
I like the idea of this game but it becomes boring pretty soon because every match is always the same, you can't really add anything to it (like any call of duty). You shoot and run.
They should fix the sniper or add a "goto" to titan's modes. The titan it self feels so disconnected from the game at times. Why didn't they add any kind of interaction with objectives? You can easily win a fight without using a titan in control point mode. Like in my gameplay! I destroyed practically every single titan that was on the map but even then it didn't give my team the edge to victory. So what the hell is a titan? Just a robot that helps? Not the key thing of the game? I see all this as limitations.
The claim that maps use way more vertical space is kind of a joke since they are way to simple and small, you can't really master anything in the movements cause there is not much to master.
What's left there new after only a couple of hours? Is there anything that makes the match dynamic?
I just hate the idea of wasting an extremely good concept in favor of simplicity of today's standards.
One thing is create something accessible, another on is to create something repetitive or extremely simplified.

My boot seems to be broken. It works most of the time, but every now and then it will just fail to connect. I'm in their face kicking them but they don't die and instead shoot me. Then I see the killcam and on their end my character is just kicking air.

It's weird how great my performance actually is. I have a 5870 which is over 4 years old now and I can run it on medium-high at semi stable 60FPS.
Can't wait to get home. Gonna stompy mech all daaaaaaaay.
But... I won't pre-order it. Nope. No pre-order. Not getting duped by that. Gonna wait for a sale or find some other cheaper alternative or something.

They don't sell shit for cheap "just because", they sell it for however cheap they can find it in the different regions, usually Russia. Suppose there wasn't a cheap as shit version being sold anywhere, so they didn't get it, and now they're selling the next best thing.

Whenever I kick someone, the leg just follows the damn enemy around until it kicks him. It's like auto aim for legs.

My friend is getting "We are unable to connect to EA servers to activate Titanfall Beta on this computer" when trying to launch the game. Anyone experience the game/know fix?
Nobody can connect to the game
Before I had to leave I managed to play one round of ehh... 3 Control Points. Personally, I hated/grew tired of CoD after MW2. Titanfall fells like a CoD game that actually tries to change it's formula a bit. I'm also glad they removed any kind of SP because it would probably be waste of time. I hope this will finally steal CoD's thunder.
As for my experience, I played on settings the game put itself, looked pretty lowish. I noticed some stutter when shit got crazy with explosions and other effects. As for gameplay I could see myself getting into it.
I hope I'm wrong but remember this moment. Because in the future we'll most likely see Titanfall turn into next CoD with little formula changes.

Pop it before the rodeo alerts pops up on your screen. It takes a second or two to activate, so keep an ear out for the sound of a pilot landing on you. The alert only goes off when they take the hatch off your core, so if you listen you can pop the smoke a few seconds ahead of time to make up for the electric shock's delay.
Is this normal? It finished in like 2 minutes.

depending on my mood I tend to just leave my titan on auto-follow and go around shooting rockets at other titans it's fighting with
Holy shit man now that i don't crash (updated my drivers) I feel like a fucking god.
Entire round even though we lost I only died twice and got like 10 rodeo kills and played mostly as pilot and it was so fun - the wallrunning is extremely intuitive and I've had no problem transitioning to using it fluidly in gameplay
oh man, this is fun!!
also, connection is fine for me
