I'm kinda getting the same feeling as asXas. Don't get me wrong I find the game really fun, it just seems like there's not that much 'depth'. The games feel way too short to me and games have started to feel samey.
I think I'd definitely get this game when it's on a decent sale otherwise I think I'll stick to other online FPS games.

I really want to get the collector's edition for this game. Just because of that sexy statue. But the last time I dished out a boatload for a collector's edition with a statue I got this bullshit.

Max isn't supposed to lean that far (or at all, really) but he's too fucking heavy for his own legs.
I think I'm going to stop playing Hardpoint now. It's starting to become like CoD where I'm the only one on my team actually going for the control points while everyone else is just killing. I just lost about 5 different games in my row just because of this, and these were level 10-14 teammates I was playing with.

Wrecking people out of a titan is even more so
Not that doing it in a titan isn't, but when you are flying through the air and running up walls killing other people and jump kicking it feels amazing (as opposed to just running around and shooting)

I'm loving the shotgun so much at the moment. Fast-paced action for every player alongside me just sweetens the whole deal.
I think I made at least a few guys ragequit the game because of the shotgun instakills I keep pulling off :v:

Opposite here, made some shotgun dude ragequit after we kept gunning him down from a distance.
I don't know what happened but I ejected from my Titan and 300m above ground I saw another pilot right next to me and shot him in the face

After going from the shotgun, the carbine feels awffuuuuullllll
So I just got a chance to play this game. Early game is like a fusion of tribes and mirrors edge due to the parkour.
Then the Titans fall in....
I don't know about you fellas, but i was born and raised on mech sims, battletech into mechwarrior, Heavy gear, and starsiege(which was earthsiege 3) My hands grew to be in command of a metal warlord, a steel centurion and various other ferrous based puns. And when i got into that Titan for the first time it felt like HOME!
I was back in command of my machine where I belonged. and this time the game had changed, I had to be mindful of th soldier on the ground, he was as much a treat as I. I had to think, this wasn't just stompy bttleships, this was something different. I had to think, I had to change, then I rembered i was not tied to my machine. I could jump out and tell my machine to do other things. It was more than just Pilot and Titan as one, this was a team, My titan would cover the pint or act as a distraction while i captued the point, or I would set my titan on an enemy while I jumped on it's back.... and blew myself up becase it used th rapid fire rocket launcher at point blank range.
My machine my be cutting edge but that does not compensate for a stupid pilot.
Also I outright killed an enemy titant and it's pilot by running up whle doomed and ejecting. It Felt GOOD!

Beta drivers still get CTD with "display driver stopped responding" but now I can play for a lot longer.

How do I wall hang and how do you guys deal with people chasing you with smart pistols?
I feel like there is not enough motivation to use titans for some players... Like me.
I usually just call it in and let it follow me. I don't see the point of actually driving one around, there are too many dangers for such a huge lump of metal. And it makes everybody act predictable wherever it goes, so that's a bonus. You can expect the pilots to ignore everything around them and just try to get behind cover, climb up nearest building and try to take it down from above. Free jumpkicks, scenic falls included. Yelling "THIS IS SPARTA" optional.
