I hope they add a few more minion types into the full game. I love those little guys.
I found out they have squad leaders and if you kill a leader the squad goes into disarray.
It's true of Spectre squads too, and if you hack a spectre leader you convert all of them to your side.
I want to either see an assassin minion who sneaks about and causes minion squads to panic, or perhaps an ammo mule minion who'll give you ammo if you somehow manage to run out, possibly even a more potent anti-titan minion who won't do TOO much damage to a titan but could prove bothersome if left alone and not squished in the proper manner.
B is the easiest thing to defend as long as you know where the enemy is spawning from. been doing 3.0+ pilot KDR just capping and defending it. Not a lot of people flank A/C, and when they do my team just goes and caps the opposite point.

Yeah, the grunts are put there for ambiance as much as to let you farm points, but half of them are so useless and terrible that it's immersion breaking. Having all these random soldiers with different roles could have been a really cool side part of the fight, like maybe doing little sub objectives to get better/more support, directing them or calling more in with burn cards, etc.

Yeah, when the captains get shot they usually split up.
Also, i wouldn't mind some kind of sniper/heavy asaault minion.
But then again, there's the big chance of animal NPC's that'll fight you and the grunts.

Shield core, super fast shield regen but very short duration

Earlier today I was focusing on killing grunts trying to unlock a sight for the SMG, I killed all but one of a squad when he ran, naturally I chased him. He quickly found a second squad of grunts and shouted "Help, there's a crazy pilot, he wiped out my whole squad." They opened fire, I wiped their whole squad.
I love the compliments I get from my own squads after killing 5 titans in the same life

It ends 6pm PST tonight, but they may extend it for a few hours depending on a patch or something like that.

So I got to try it out... Wow... is all I have to say. Really fast paced, really fun. Definitely gonna buy it.
Also they should extend the beta to march 11. (for people who preorder?)
Also I want these models for SFM/Gmod. They are really fantastic.
So no open PC beta?
Edit : Apparently I have to restart Origin to see it, stupid me.
I actually enjoy snapping necks and kicking people. Hopefully there will be some more stuff for a stealth-oriented build to sneak up on people.

Kicking feels a little weird, but I think I'm just not used to a slower melee. Haven't had that since like FEAR. :v:

I almost feel bad when you hear the frantic scream from grunts wen you're in a titan. If you run over to try and crush them they try to sprint off yelling "GET AWAY FROM THE TITAN!!! OH GOD IT'S RIGHT ON TOP OF US!"

Oh man, Fear online multiplayer was amazing.. Slidekickin' all day every day
I keep forgetting to kick because C is an awkward key to hit when there's suddenly an enemy in your face. But then when I go to grind grunts for unlocks I find myself kicking them to death because I'm in no real danger.

used it, had Stim as my Tactical at the time, basically you're an invisible bolt of lightning. Didn't die up until the moment we lost and I was killed by a rocket that hit a nearby specter instead of the titan it was aimed at

Happened to me as well, don't worry. Just restart Origin.
Grunts tend to flock to friendly stationary titans for cover.
Rest in peace, titanfall, see you in 3 weeks.

I just joined a game and everything had like a negative filter over it. Then my game crashed.
