Imma head over to this thread about three days after launch and see if EA made any terrible decisions, if nobody is making blood effigies of EA I'll assume they wised up and didn't fuck about with things too badly and THEN buy the game.

I don't really bother pre-ordering games unless they're from a series of games I like, for example, I'm getting the Collectors Edition of InFamous: Second Son because I loved the first and second.
My friends (all PS3-4 fans,) got mad once I told them I got an Xbox One (except for Craig, who also got one). Eventually, I gave up trying to talk to them, as they wouldn't stop being making jokes every time they saw me. Until of course, I told them about Titanfall. So,

I was skeptical too, then I tried the beta/demo myself and I found it super fun and pre-ordered. It's the first game I ever pre-order too and I spent a good amount of my yearly budget on games on this single purchase.
EA better not fuck this up.

Yeah The game as an actual GAME is brilliant, stellar, the demo sold me on it... almost.
Like I say I'm going to buy it AFTER release just to make sure there isn't some kind of oncoming shit storm brewing where ea does some DLC bullshit or we get a tonne of cut content, some kind of DRM fiasco (Because despite the fact that origin is one of them user friendly DRM's like steam I would NOT put it past EA to cock it up and slap something HORRIBLY in there)
I'm going to go and live with monks so they may teach me patience so that for three days I can wait for titanfall... then immediately get up and run off giggling like a little schoolgirl once I find out everything is hunky dory and Titanfall is as good as it sounds with no strings attached.

So a guy on reddit actually gave me the right idea on how to handle the extracted sound files - import the .wavs as raw audio data in audacity and put it into an mp3. I got you guys some tracks on soundcloud. It seems like there's a handful of map-specific tracks, but most of the Soundtrack is already here. The MP Campaign might have extra tracks as well, who knows. I'll keep updating the Soundcloud playlist.

Difference being this is the first time I've done it this whole thread after lurking here since its inception, but looking at your posts in this thread almost all of them are correcting people. And in other threads you have this aura of "I always know more about X unreleased game than anyone."

I'm here to discuss, debate, and freely speak my opinion. It's on topic, i'm not breaking any rules, and there are times that I do know more about unreleased games than anyone, that's what happens when you work QA in the gaming industry.

I was indeed involved with BF3 QA, and various other EA projects over the past 3 years. However I never said something stupid like "testing a weapon as the developers were modeling it, and it was updating real time." Don't put words in my mouth, that's not how QA works. There's a gaf thread about how Titanfall uses Origin, which apparently is a surprise for some people, and the thread is full of people refusing to but the game strictly because of Origin.
I don't get these people. Steam can't be the only platform.

Origin's not even that bad, people just hate it because EA which can be a justifiable reason
Frankly, I think anyone that refuses to use Origin solely on the ground of "ITS NOT STEAM" are twats.
But reusing it on the grounds of EA's twisted business tactics? I can see that.
I'd love to not use Origin again due to EA's twisted business tactics, but then I don't get to play Battlefield or Titanfall.
Primary reason I don't like using Origin is because I'm really not a fan of having multiple clients open just to run games, I prefer Steam over it simply because I've built a collection over the years and I know that the majority of my games are there and available. I'm going to have to deal with Origin for Titanfall though, but it should be worth it since I had a blast in the beta. I wouldn't go as far as to boycott it, but it's definitely inconvenient and if more start popping up will become a headache.
