The Game Awards 2015- I swear, I just watch it for the announcements - Games

Mostly annoyed that Undertale did not win anything. Most of the choices were fine though.

It's one of my favourite games this year but it doesn't deserve to win any awards for the state it was released in, and still is today.

I honestly didn't think they could lower the bar from Skyrim, but they did. Everything else has gotten me 100 hours in the game, but to give Bethesda a GOTY award for a game that barely fucking works would be so fucked.

The only good things that came out of this year's awards were Reggie's speech and Geoff's Konami callout. Other than that it was probably a 4/10 at best.

I mean Psychonauts 2 caught my eye (EDIT: And the Reggie Speech was really, really nice) but tbh I was barely excited by this, a lot of the choices I could have seen coming from miles away, and WHOOOO BUD LIGHT GAMERS WOOOO BATTLEFIELD OTHER ADVERTISEMENTS WOO

Now I remember why people didn't like his music at the end of TI5. It kills excitement due to it being slow as hell, even if there was no excitement in the first place.

I watched his set at Veld in Toronto this year, and every time his music "dropped" it just transitioned into more chill beats, which makes it feel really weak
